Between its 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 scrimmages, Rutgers shot just 9-of-36 from 3-point range (25 percent). Aside from Mark, the Scarlet Knights were just 5-of-31 (16 percent).
Welp, hopefully that’s an indication we are playing better perimeter defense.
At the end of last season, Mark was flashy and fast. Sounds like it has carried over to the summer. Between him and Francis, Rutgers will likely have two of the hardest to guard guards in he Big Ten. Nice to hear he has gained weight without losing his quickness. What he lacks in height on defense he will likely make up for with his athleticism. Given howJon Rothstein called him out in practice along with the TKR gang, and how he finished last year, I would not be shocked if he becomes one of the better guards in the Big Ten.
