Based upon my calendar today is Barney’s last day! His last act was to self report which he was excited to do. The guy spent a quarter century as an anemic low energy AD who destroyed our bb program and accomplished a lot of nothing. He left us 30 million in the hole because of the sweet heart deals he gave his coaches. Stoops took full advantage and will be on the sidelines at Texas next year while we pay his salary.
Then of course he left the stench on our AD of our rapist swim coach he hired. I think that’s partially why we hired the ad from msu who also had to bounce back from a rape scandal with the dr for US women’s gymnastics. I’ve seen zero mention of this as a reason for bringing Batt in and even though he wasn’t the AD immediately after he still had to restore those programs due to the severity. I just hope this dude is a winner or even better I hope he hates losing.
Nevertheless the end is here!!! Finally! And look if you see Barney around town feel free to let him know what he did to our programs and our state. The man on his way out the door tried to con the state for a million dollars a year? You think that was the first time he screwed UK or tried? Nope!
