first of all, what your're referreing to in Idaho is state issue, not federal, correct?
It wasn't me asking the question about freedoms being lost. I was just piling on

. see, I live in Florida, and I just don't see, nor have I seen on TV or read in the papers about gestapo like, masked agents roving the streets arresting brown people....and we're a red state that cooperates with ICE. Now, I'm not saying it doesn't or hasn't happened, I just think you guys are overblowing it. But, as I've posted on here, I'm a stay within the lines guy..if you're in the country illegally than you shouldn't be surprised if ICE shows up at your door, place of work or walking down the street.
I'm not in favor of this tit for that, lawfare. it doesn't make sense to me. Seems as if everybody would be better off just following the laws....I'm all in favor of due process. But I know for a fact that police detain people, white, black or brown while they are investigating. That doesn't mean due process is lost. Are mistakes made, sure they are..we have examples of people on death row being released because mistakes were made. I can't imagine a world where in the immigration sphere where mistakes aren't being made.
