He'll be out there with duck tape and bailing wire holding him together as long as LA28 is still an option
No doubt. He’s a warrior. I’ll be shocked if he can make it thru this year, 27 and 28. He’d be smart to back off in 27 and plan for 28

Make it thru? Why would it be smart to back off? This is it for him with LA in two years, it’s full steam ahead.
I think his body has had enough and 2 more years of full steam ahead will have a good chance of ending in a broken down/less than 100% Spencer. he is good enough that if he decides to do less in 27, then come back hard in 28, he has less chance of being broken and a better chance at being super in 28.

If his body has had enough, he wouldn't be wrestling.

IF he were going to take a year off, it would have been 2025. It's too late in the cycle for that now. Not to mention that he's healthy enough to compete, so that's what he wants and should do. He's doing a good job with his body, and there's just not much he can do about it except go when he's healthy. The elbow injury happened in a match - so it's not like he's getting run down in practice/training.

Do less than what? The freestyle schedule is far from grueling.

I love that your take is that the body of a guy who just qualified for a worlds “has had enough.”

I definitely haven't. Whenever you guys hear an opinion you don't like it's ban him. The issue is you guys cry wolf constantly sending DMs to mods. Now they realize it's a bunch of babies crying and my posts aren't anything that someone should be banned for 😘

Who's "you guys"? I know you're still psychologically wounded from when you were banned on the old board but jeez, you sure like playing the martyr. Time let it go and move on princess.

If he medals he’ll get to sit until final X in ‘27. If Spencer can get a gold at the World Championships this year, he’ll be in the drivers seat for ‘27. He’d pretty much be a lock for getting seeded at Worlds in ‘27 and again be sitting until final X.

‘27 is more important than this year, He needs to be sitting in final X in ‘27 to create the best chance to make the Olympic team and be seeded there.
He can’t do this taking his foot off the the gas.

I’d look for him to wrestle at Zagreb, U.S. World & Olympic qualifying, World Championships & the Olympics over the next 3 years. It’s crucial for Spencer to medal at worlds the next two years, winning world gold this year and in ‘27 would be optimal for his Olympic run.

83% of the board already know this.
