The teacher is accused of multiple sexual encounters with the underage student in her classroom and car as well as sending thousands of inappropriate text messages including asking him to describe sex with peers and offering to buy him a sex toy. Fisler who has now been charged with a total of 12 offences including pattern of official misconduct appeared in court sobbing and was refused bail after prosecutors said she posed a risk to the community.
The victim who is now an adult reported the prolonged abuse after trying to end the relationship saying it left him mentally broken stripped of his innocence and forced to grow up abnormally quickly with the messages continuing even after he moved to high school. If convicted Fisler faces up to 20 years in prison for each first degree offence.
