We avoided a nightmare situation. Sometimes you have to trust the staff’s assessment. Wonder what Knowles was thinking bringing him to Tenn on a $3m contract.

Heupel must have trusted Knowles' judgement. It'll be interesting to follow the UTenn defense for the next couple years. We avoided a nightmare situation. Sometimes you have to trust the staff’s assessment. Wonder what Knowles was thinking bringing him to Tenn on a $3m contract.
Maybe we can bring him home to State College!
Wherever he ends up, most important he gets the help he needs. Then he can go back to football, or not.
I’m probably wrong or mis remembering but I thought Coleman was gone before Campbell was even considered.Danggg wow. Maybe Campbell really does know what he’s doing with money. Imagine paying Coleman what he wanted and then not having any leftover cash for the DT’s, LB’s, and Safeties we brought in.
I don’t know his problems, I don’t subscribe to X

Coleman may very well have been "gone" even before FHCJF was "gone"I’m probably wrong or mis remembering but I thought Coleman was gone before Campbell was even considered.![]()

Agree. He needs to take a break and get his life in order.Wherever he ends up, most important he gets the help he needs. Then he can go back to football, or not.
I believe he was gone before HCMC arrived.I’m probably wrong or mis remembering but I thought Coleman was gone before Campbell was even considered.![]()
The thing Coleman excels at, the thing that will get him the most money, has an expiration date. Yes, he needs to take a break. He’s not going to.Agree. He needs to take a break and get his life in order.
That's unfortunate. If he doesn't get help this might not end well. The thing Coleman excels at, the thing that will get him the most money, has an expiration date. Yes, he needs to take a break. He’s not going to.
Many coaches think they can help someone...especially someone with a ton of talent. Too bad it didn't work out. Hopefully he gets his life together quickly
Maybe we can bring him home to State College!
You must be new around here.Maybe Campbell really does know what he’s doing with money.

You're confusing talent with productionWhat talent? Coleman had a grand total of one sack and was a liability against the run.
He was way overhyped and Tennessee learned a lesson the hard way.
So, before last season started?Coleman may very well have been "gone" even before FHCJF was "gone"
He was over hyped on this very forum along with the pay board. You're confusing talent with production
Nothing that happened makes him overhyped--there were clear psychological issues that hindered him
Theres's reasons guys get countless chances--people see the potential
Coleman will likely get another chance if he wants to play
Based on...He was over hyped on this very forum along with the pay board.
Based on insider and staff reports on the pay board.Based on...
He hasn't played enough to determine that--this is all mental not physical
And has zero to do with "especially someone with a ton of talent"--you probably are also going to say Allar was overhyped which is false.
I'm sorry--who started this argument? It wasn't me.Based on insider and staff reports on the pay board.
Also dont put words in my mouth, I can express myself and thoughts quite well thank you.
Why do want to start arguments with everyone?
Ummm I didn’t start anything look in the mirror cause it certainly wasn’t me.I'm sorry--who started this argument? It wasn't me.
The discussion you responded to was about the kid having talent. There's no doubt he has talent--whether that develops into him being successful will eventually be determined. Hopefully he gets it together mentally so he has an opportunity to live up to the hype but he wasn't here long enough to determine if he was overhyped of not.
Was Allar overhyped? Since, god forbid, I said you'd probably claim that you have a chance to answer it now.
Not with a $1M+ NIL dealYou're confusing talent with production

I didn’t hype him but many other people did.
It is funny but not in a ha ha way but many posters on this board that I’ve known for a long time time told me not to bother with you. They said you were an A$$ but I think everyone deserves a chance. Oh well thank you for proving their point.
Yeah, that's fair--the NIL deal was based on "potential" vs "production'Not with a $1M+ NIL deal
Was he overrated, probably most are.Look, I'm actually pretty easy to get along with if people don't get overly sensitive and turn every disagreement into a personal attack. I'm direct. If I ask why you believe something, it's because I think opinions should have some basis behind them. Sorry if that's not the kind of conversation you're used to, but I'm not here to coddle people because they don't like having their opinions questioned.
- I never said you hyped him up.
- You responded to my comment. I asked what your opinion was based on and explained why I disagreed—namely, that he hasn't been here long enough to prove that yet. Somehow that makes me an ***?
- You still haven't answered the question. Is that because I didn't put words in your mouth for you?
Right--so I was correct--thank youWas he overrated, probably most are.
Like I said thank you for proving their point.
as for any further conversation with you, i'll pass, its friday night and you are harshing my buzz.
