19?If other states are teaching the test and we are too and our ranking is going up, that is good. Its progress and good progress comparing apples to apples.
There are tons of kids who cant read at all so even if they are learning to read i don't care if its the test or a book.
ACT scores need to come up but they aren't a great measure either. I got accepted to the US Naval academy with a 23. I had a 30 in math and a 19 in reading. I can read, but I don't read fast and comprehend quickly.
I wouldn't think the facility is the reason they wouldn’t send their kid to school there. Also, Starkville has two private schools also as an option. In my opinion, and it is shared by many - one of the barriers to MSU hiring innovative faculty is the condition of Starkville High School. They don't want their kids going to a school with a lot of deferred maintenance. A $105 million state of the art campus on MSU's campus fixes that.
Now, its up to SOSD leaders to take advantage and make the school the best it can be. But being proud of your school building goes a long ways in being a better school.
You definitely seem like the type of guy that would make fun of someone's test scores.
135, and 32 on the reading.Yeah a 19. You wanna have the IQ off?
Only when they have questioned my intelligence repeatedly. He deserves it.You definitely seem like the type of guy that would make fun of someone's test scores.
Whenever you get ready to have that competition let me know!135, and 32 on the reading.

I gave you the number. I don’t care whether you believe it or not.Whenever you get ready to have that competition let me know!
4/1 odds
Still doing great at writing!I gave you the number. I don’t whether you believe it or not.
At least I can understand what I read, and quickly.Still doing great at writing!
Typical low intelligence reply, name calling substitutes for substance. You accidentally confirmed something I suspected all along today. Your debating style has always screamed it.Yes that you are a loser
Hahaha you started this you dumb mother 17erTypical low intelligence reply, name calling substitutes for substance. You accidentally confirmed something I suspected all along today. Your debating style has always screamed it.
You aren’t. People complained that common core was “new math” when it was the same math as before but with added ways that help you understand how math works in addition to just teaching you algorithms to solve a simple problem. Parents couldn’t do it because they didn’t understand math and they had a conniption. Algorithms are no good if you don’t know when to use them. Knowing how to cross multiply won’t help you build a bridge if you have no idea why or how to get to the cross multiplying.I have no idea about the “new math” but if you can work a math problem the traditional way, you shouldn’t be penalized.
i mean it’s worked for a long 17ing time.
Let’s face it. Some people should be bridge builders. You aren’t. People complained that common core was “new math” when it was the same math as before but with added ways that help you understand how math works in addition to just teaching you algorithms to solve a simple problem. Of course. That’s an example. But everyone needs to understand math.Let’s face it. Some people should be bridge builders.
Again though. Not everyone is gonna get it.Of course. That’s an example. But everyone needs to understand math.
I think everyone needs to be able to calculate interest and do fractions. Basically enough algebra to be able to do personal finance and stuff you face in everyday life, like adjusting recipes and understanding gas mileage etc. Beyond that, lots of people just aren't going to be able to do enough math to really make a difference in their life or job. Hell, there are a lot of people that it would be a real struggle to get them to be able to do basic algebra. I'm guessing 25% of people in the US can't? And even if we had more functional schools, I'm not sure you could cut that in half.Of course. That’s an example. But everyone needs to understand math.
You definitely seem like the type of guy that would make fun of someone's test scores.
This is incredibly random, but I think L4Dawg is the person in the comments that says he knows there are people smarter than 135 and he's probably only met one or two. Which I hope was sarcastic but I have definitely met people that are pretty smart but still innumerate enough to not understand that when 1 out of a 100 people are smarter than you, you are going to come across a lot of people that are smarter than you if you are in a high paying or prestigious field.
