Great hire by ER. Perfect fit in my opinion. It definitely puts East Burke in a tough spot this late in the summer. Coach Cogdill will definitely put a good product on the field. The ER and Chase rivalry just got a little more interesting.

I heard the KM Freshman is the real deal and looked really good today.
I also heard yesterday that he was going to be the starter from day 1 and that is what lead to the departure of Bell. You would know better than me but this Freshman has a ton of hype for his age and ability.

Heron’s policy is that everyone has to compete for starting positions including returning starters. He is very vocal about that. Our former qb and his family needed a fresh start and he wasn’t going to win the starting job over the freshman.
