This guy gets it.

Can we trade dickpic, Torbs, Gester & all the other America-hating losers for the Scots, Norwegians, Japanese, etc that are here loving our country…..& are way more FUN?!
Did you listen to it dum.bass? Because if you did, you'd know that m.knox made up his bold heading to make you think he said something he didn't because he knew you'd believe it without watching it. It's annoying that you deplorables can't respect the request to keep this non-political but if you're going to push this lie based on what one dude said, I will present you with this. It's you they mock, not us. Now please keep anymore political posts out of this thread.

Fascism does have a tendency to spread amongst the disaffected and the insecure. When did your insecurity take over and cause you to embrace fascism, Pedo Mauler? Did an illegal take an intended victim away from you? Did inflation cause the lotion you want your victims to put in the basket to go up in price to the point you couldn't afford it any longer?

How would you answer this question? Do we take life too seriously compared to the Europeans? Do we place too much emphasis on work and not enough on enjoying life?

Most USA Americans are about as fun as a root canal. MAGA Americans are even less enjoyable.

I think it's more than that. I was in Rome last year and recently got back from 10 days in Spain and the vibe is different there. They are much more relaxed and less uptight than we are. There were still some businesses that closed early afternoon for siesta and outdoor cafes are literally everywhere with thousands of people lingering until late at night wining and dining etc...You have to experience for yourself to know what I'm talking about but their world doesn't revolve around work - play is just as important.

Man, I thought this was going one way until near the end he surprised me:

"America isn't special because we're the same
America is special because we're different."

Lulz.... your attempt at "you have to experience it yourself" is funny bruv..... I lived in Brazil, quite familiar with a less than cut throat capitalism mindset.

Those people are on vacation to a bucket list experience. You babies will find anything to ***** about.

First of all, I said Europeans and I'm not bitching at all, I'm just talking out loud and pondering the question asked in the video. So before you make this into a pissing match, just give me your answer.

I really wish I'd gone down to Miami, even without a ticket, just to hang out in the mob. It would have to be a blast to party with the Tartan Army while ogling the Brazilian chicks.

Freedoms they don't have. Hmm

Ok man, I'll accept that if you'll step away because, like I said, I'm not trying to start an argument and for the record, I love my country too so it's not about that. At all...

I had too much to do on Monday but I was going to take the murder train from Boca to watch the Marlins game with the Tartan Army. I am still in Palm Beach so I might find an excuse to at least go to the Elbow Room in Ft Lauderdale. They'll probably be there for a few more days.

I dont really see how you could argue people tend to relax and enjoy themselves on vacation.

Enjoy your day Dpic.

This deserves its own thread and I don't want to be like the bot impersonators and hijack this thread with politics. However, I will say this. @BrainVision @BelemNole and @fsu1jreed were correct 20 years ago when I was a hard core right winger (though never a racist) when they continually pointed out that people in European social democracies are far happier than people in this country. What I have learned since is that the happiness is a reflection of how much of people's lives are market driven. We need to start using some of the right's rhetoric against them. If you can't make money without exploiting misery, which is the foundation of our health care system, or straight up ripping people off, which is every industry in this country at this point, then maybe you shouldn't be in business.

The Right considers these countries to be socialist and constantly warn us about becoming more like them but they sure do seem to be a lot happier than Americans. Maybe they're doing it the right way?
They work to live over there. Americans are too often forced to live to work. Republicans want us to be good worker bees and then die so SS and Medicaid dollars aren’t spent on us.
