I’m going on Sunday. I really just want to do something special for the 250th. I was around for the Bicentennial and it was such a big deal, even though the country was definitely in the dumps after Vietnam and Watergate. Seems as though it is much more subdued this time, no doubt due to America’s political situation. I read a description that said it’s a celebration of the states and territories and I hope it’s just that, and the Trumper portion of it is over.
