Emma D'Arcy is locking in an Emmy nomination. She's been brilliant the last two episodes. Queen for a day, and she is wilting under the non stop badgering over tallow and Hugh's demands for a place to live.
I wonder who has the gold? The book says it was dispersed, but the show might take a more interesting pathway. I have grown a little tired of the Lord Corlys ignoring his illegitimate sons for decades, then demanding they be legitimized after a few hug it out sessions with them. Daemon finally figured out that Alys the witch is playing him.

Ormond is turning into a very interesting character. Bit of a pretty boy, with strong undercurrents of religious zealot about to break the surface.
The Larys and Aegon road show continues to amuse. I simply cannot imagine a non gruesome death for the guy that forced Aegon to kiss his feet.The Ulf and Rhaenrya scene was amusing where she gave him the circle move as she explained to him that his belly was now property of the crown.
Where is Aemond? Being nursed back to health. by Alys? Helaena is with child. Are we sure it's Aegon's? I'm not sure who else's it might be, but Aegon graphically explained that his pee pee had been scorched. Given how long his rehab was, and now that he's on the road with Larys, when was this child conceived? Although in a show that features dragons, timelines are often the least of my believability worries. Rhaenrya isn't going to like there being another claimant to the throne.

I think pursuant to the books Aegon is the father.

Well, that wasn't nearly as prolonged and gruesome of an end for the guy who made Aegon kiss his boots. Aemond has indeed turned a corner in his rehab. Kind of sucks what they've done to the show. Alys should have visited Aemond in his chambers for some tasteful nudity by now if this was the first few seasons of GoT. Now she's hugging him like the mommy figure he craves. Fudging low T.
I haven't read the books, but are we sure Aegon's dragon is dead, and not in some healing hibernation thing? There is a Monty Python dead parrot reference in there.
Edit: I had a feeling that Tyland Lannister didn't die. If one guy in a suit of armor can survive going into the water, so can a second.

Daemon keeps having great little one liners. When they go charging out of the council chambers Rhaenrya commands Daemon to follow her orders, and he tells her he will, just when he chooses to.
Is Alicent starting to think that she might be the common denominator when it comes to the evil in her sons?

This was a nice episode. I was wondering how long it would take for Alys to get speared by Aemond. The weird mommy thing Aemond has for Alys that she's been nurturing gets spicy. She's got 5 dragon eggs to bring to the union, too.
The last episode Baela is flirting with Addam, this week she's throwing herself at Alyyn.
The gold cloaks are pansies. All of that honor nonsense, then a bunch of them turn and run at the first sign of being disemboweled.
Mysaria lies to Rhaenrya. Interesting.
Criston gets three arrows in him while monologuing, just after he sniffs Alicent's kerchief one last time. The end was going to come at some point, but walking into a trap like that? C'mon.
Loved the line back at Corlys by Alynn after he whines about the queen not recognizing Addam and Alynn as legitimate.
Hugh and Ulf grow more and more disgruntled. Probably not a great move by Daemon to humiliate Ulf in public like that.
Rhaenrya getting nicked while sitting on the throne can't be a good sign. And, she gives Alicent chance number... 3? 4?

So, Lord Corlys, the great leader of men, doesn't post any guards, and gets kidnapped. The obvious candidate is Ormund Hightower, but I feel as if there has to be a plot twist in the works. A new player in the game, perhaps?

Okay, watched again last night, and it was one of Ormund's men who captured Corlys.

Am I the only one that feels like there really aren't any likable characters? I'm having trouble "pulling" for anyone to live.

I called it on Sunfyre not being dead. I knew that thing was regenerating. Loved Aegon screaming with glee as Sunfyre torched those soldiers. Called it on Ulf changing sides. How long until Hugh changes sides? Well, next week, I suspect.
This was a spicy episode, although apparently we still are not allowed to see boobies. A little girl on girl is nice, though.
