I have paid zero attention to the CWS finals and really didn't pay much attention at all.

With that being said, give me UNC.

The World Cup is on so I don't really care. Yet I'm responding. I haven't paid attention to OU because we didn't play them and I know squat about NC. This makes me think of what might have been. We likely lacked two decent pitchers to be in the MCWS. We still had a damn good year and an entertaining year, other than the sweeps. The program looks to be back where it belongs: among the best in the nation. Maybe go NC to avoid having another really good SEC program to compete against.

I would go with UNC. OK has 2 CWS Championships and I don't want them to a big lead on us. If they get their 3rd, it'll be tough to catch up.

OU's first CWS championship was in 1951. Their final record was 19-9. That's right, they played a baseball season including winning the CWS and played just 28 games.

I think the sooners win tonight.

Impressive first inning for the Sooners. Base runners, solid pitching and stellar D. Momo starts on the side of OK.

I'm kinda pulling for Oklahoma. Doesn't really matter but UNC is another ACC team that has never won it all and don't don't see any reason to start now.

OK which means the NC gets the championship.

I don't have to say which way the announcers are playing.

Looks like it’s Oklahoma’s year.

If it holds it’ll be 7 straight SEC national championships by 6 different teams.

As a sec homer with the exception of mizoo and Oklahoma, this doesn’t count. It only means more to the originals. 🤷‍♂️

So? Doesn't matter how they did it or under what format they did it. As long as they gotter done is all that matters.

Normally I root against every other SEC team in situations like last night, but I found myself completely indifferent in these finals. OU still doesn't feel like they're SEC to me I guess.

None of the games were very entertaining though. In every one OU jumped out to a 2-0 lead, and in two of three they just kept piling on and UNC looked pitiful. Pretty boring finals
