Some people walking down the street with signs, on the other side of an ocean. Why does OP seek out this stuff? If it was so intrusive into his life, you would think he wouldn't have to subscribe to newsletters in order to find content with examples of the stuff he hates. Could it be that it really isn't all that relevant to his life, and if he didn't follow this stuff as a hobby, like one might with baseball or celebrity gossip, he might not even know about it?
