Spencer earned the win. He's a beast. Just don't understand how he got his bell rung....then was fine...then could barely walk after the match. I didn't think he was a drama major at Iowa, but I don't know. He's our rep, and hope he kicks *** at worlds.

I don't know if he was or wasn't, but that statement is nonsense. Diakomihalis passed the concussion protocol against Lee in their wrestle off a few years ago and then spent days in the hosiptal, unable to fly home, because he was concussed.
Well every situation is different. He got dinged and was never out . Listen to his interview afterwards. You acting like every head ding is gonna hospitalize someone is nonsense. Stick to making graphs make me one on how many head dings end up with hospitalizations

You compared Spencer situation to Yianni situation. Yianni was not right and stumbling around and had many stoppages after he was hit in the head . Spencer situation was nothing like that at all.
Have you talked to anyone involved?
Did you listen to Spencer talk afterwards?

That is not what I did. I pointed out that just because someone passed the concussion protocol does not mean they did not have a concussion - as your post stated. And I did that by giving you a prominent example of the counter factual.

Lee said in his interview afterwards that he didn't have a concussion, plus he obviously passed the concussion test or he wouldn't have been cleared. What are you saying, he was lying and they let him continue after failing the test? I'm not arguing with you, just curious as to what your stance is here?!
Maybe they were wondering what caused SL to apparently collapse after the match in question? Maybe he was just that tired?

He said he got dizzy from an adrenaline dump. I thought concussion too honestly, but he said himself it wasn't and he was allowed to continue so I guess I'm inclined to believe that wasn't the case. He also wrestled just fine after the fact so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt over what it looked like to me. In the end he is the 57 rep and that makes me very, very happy!
