Daveigh Chase, star of "The Ring" and voice of Lilo in "Lilo & Stitch," died at 35 from bacterial meningitis complications, her father reportedly shared.

A little surprised this did not generate more discussion. The Ring was one of the scariest movies of all time, the actress was hot (in some recent pictures on the death notice, and died tragically young. Perhaps it just got buried by current events in PSU athletics…. Either way, thought this post deserved a refresh.

When I hear about a younger Hollywood actor/celebrity dying (especially one who hasn’t done a lot lately and had fame at a young age) I immediately think suicide or drug overdose or something like that. Hear she passed from complications due to meningitis (septic shock) and malnourishment and was in rough shape for months. So sad - RIP.
