Why would anyone do that? Maybe the process will play out and they will not be recruits. Maybe they will be cleared. The point is perhaps RU is in no position to look down on recruiting classes that are ahead of RU in 3 different rankings.

For 2027:
247- Rutgers 31, Cuse 36. RU composite 86.67, Cuse 86.47. ---this is nothing to really crow over.

On3- Rutgers 36, Cuse 52. RU is markedly better here. RU 85.65, Cuse 84.50

Wrong as RU is ahead in all recruiting rankings…

Also I don’t see them getting cleared as they beat the hell out of the guy. If they were our recruits it would already be front page of the Star Ledger!

you guys are funny crowing over recruiting rankings. the reality is that none of this really matters until movement is restricted. I'd wager most of these kids will never see the field at Rutgers either through transfer or coach change. Point being, I understand grasping at any glimmer of good news for a program circling the drain but you all need some perspective. Another lackluster year and most of these kids will move on

the only constant here is that Sarah sucks, no amount of pain and shyyt flung their way is enough. I hope the entire school gets swallowed by a sinkhole.

Why is Syracuse improving at lax? Two straight final fours.

They will take a big step backwards. They rode a number 1 recruiting class four years ago to the FF, but didn’t do much behind that. It showed on the biggest stage. Now those guys have moved on and it will show in results. With the amount of investment needed for so called revenue sports, programs at schools that receive significantly less conference payout money are in real trouble financially. Sarah is a poster child. Combine that with dwindling enrollment and a school ranking dropping like a stone, in a frozen tundra in an ugly city, and their best days are long behind.

Our lax team pulled two portal players that visited there they couldn’t land and we did. The proverbial worm is always turning. They also lost their DC and haven’t been able to fill the role. If they were a stock you’d have shorted them.

Not for nothing but Sewercuse did take commits for 3 DL this month and had another already committed. It's more likely that they filled their quota more than Candle out recruited Fran.

I tried being even-handed on RU's recruiting (even with my admitted year mixup), and I got mildly scolded. It's fun to throw stones at old Big East foes, particularly Tundra, Fredo and Yukon, but it's way too early for the usual petty "our class is better than theirs". And as we have seen, portal transfers have a much bigger impact on success than HS recruits. But, let's continue on!
