Anyone plan on going? We are definitely going as this will be the 100th meeting between the schools… I believe Wisconsin is one up on us but I also hope Iowa lays a 100 points on them to celebrate the 100th anniversary… GO HAWKS!
Bucky has had brutal schedules the last couple of years and the results show it. They should finish better in '26 but not good enough to beat the HAWKEYES!I will not be going because f*** Wisconsin, that's why......
I forgot to add one thing in honor of EvilMonkeyintheclosetAnyone plan on going? We are definitely going as this will be the 100th meeting between the schools… I believe Wisconsin is one up on us but I also hope Iowa lays a 100 points on them to celebrate the 100th anniversary… GO HAWKS!
I am hoping for an epic *** kicking by Iowa and send these turds back to Wisconsin with their tails between their legs and a size 12 shoe up their collective asses and Fickel getting ousted after the beatdownBucky has had brutal schedules the last couple of years and the results show it. They should finish better in '26 but not good enough to beat the HAWKEYES!
Iowa > your teamWisky is one of my sleepers to rebound this year with colton Joseph at QB.
He is good.
If he gets hurt like fickells recent QBs....never mind.
Kinnick edge is our only on paper advantage in this tilt...hawks by 3.
Might try making this one.Anyone plan on going? We are definitely going as this will be the 100th meeting between the schools… I believe Wisconsin is one up on us but I also hope Iowa lays a 100 points on them to celebrate the 100th anniversary… GO HAWKS!
I expect Wisconsin to be a lot better this year, as it was obvious they were committed to properly rebuilding last year.Wisconsin averaged 12.8 points per game last year, ranked the 135th best offense in the nation. Brian Ferentz level bad. Stomp them.
I agree, Wisconsin could be tough.Wisky is one of my sleepers to rebound this year with colton Joseph at QB.

BF benefits LOL. Delusional. …..and I’m not going to engage in a two page debate about it because it’s a settled matter among rational observers.I expect Wisconsin to be a lot better this year, as it was obvious they were committed to properly rebuilding last year.
Similar to what happened with BF in '22/'23. And the Hawks are reaping the benefits to this day
Yes, they tried to out-cute themselves, it seems, in preparation (at the time) for the west coast teams to be added to the conference.Wisconsin story is failed attempt to go air raid. With their o line in state advantage they need to back to run game and defense. If they do they will recover
Do those rational observers include the people within the Iowa football building?BF benefits LOL. Delusional. …..and I’m not going to engage in a two page debate about it because it’s a settled matter among rational observers.
Brian Ferentz’ employment contract with the University of Iowa was terminated, he was fired and permanently removed from program.Do those rational observers include the people within the Iowa football building?
The foremost expert and most informed person about the situation was KF. And up to that point, KF did not see a reason for BF to be fired.Brian Ferentz’ employment contract with the University of Iowa was terminated, he was fired and permanently removed from program.
His termination and removal became necessary due to his failure to meet minimum performance standards that were specified in his revised employment contract.
Termination for failure to meet written performance standards is entirely rational. End of story.
You make it I will get you beers and some pork burgers aa we will be there for sureMight try making this one.
Blackout for homecoming on Halloween! Probably a night game. Should be epic.
It will be the girlfriend's birthday. So it's up to her![]()
I think they will be better but how much? A game or 2? Maybe make a bowl gane for once? They are too proud of a program and never should have hired Luke Pickle …Bucky has had brutal schedules the last couple of years and the results show it. They should finish better in '26 but not good enough to beat the HAWKEYES!
The foremost expert and most informed person about the situation was KF. And up to that point, KF did not see a reason for BF to be fired.
But that's all irrelevant to the facts that BF did indeed sacrifice, in order to be all-in in "rebuilding", brick by brick. And that the benefits of his commitment to the brick by brick approach, can still be felt today
What's sad is that you seem to have no idea what I'm even referring to![]()
You do realize BF is no longer part of the Iowa football program due to his Dad making an absolutely insane decision to make him OC then double down as QB coach. That is epic failure right there that got BF fired because he wasn’t power conference ready and prepared to be both of them. And is now a tight end coach at some school out west with Deacon Hill. I kid but that should tell you something about your boy BF as OC/QB coach. But go on and tell us some drivel about bricks and such. And bet your gf is ugly. I feel sorry for her.
That loser always justified Brian's performance with the excuse is that we won, so no matter what happened on offense, the win trumps the overall performance. Luckily the university never saw it that way!![]()

Literally, almost everything thing this guy says is a mischaracterization. It's shocking actually, what an idiot he isThat loser always justified Brian's performance with the excuse is that we won, so no matter what happened on offense, the win trumps the overall performance. Luckily the university never saw it that way!
But they actually did recommit to the run last year. New OC that they allowed to commit to to the run, while extending Fickell's contract
Well that's truly what happened, so I'm not sure what you're saying.Truly recommitting to the run means Fickell needs to go...
What are you talking about support from the admin? Right now doesn’t matter style he is playing because the Wisconsin AD left and they have an interim currently as they search for a new one. This far from support a coach needs especially with AD who hired Fickell is long gone. Whatever an interim says is a moot point.Well that's truly what happened, so I'm not sure what you're saying.
Again, the recommit has the support of the administration. So it seems they don't agree with you
Fickell was lucky to make it through the season with the apathy that set in with their fan base. Win vs Washington may have bought him an extra year. That being said on top of mistake of air raid losing Jim Leonhard as DC was a huge loss and gone are the days of stout Wisconsin defenses we’ve seen last 20 years.I went to the game in Madison last year. Their fans were already checked-out on the season. We didn’t get so much as a sideways glare from a single Badger fan. I was expecting more hate.
That's fair. I was unaware of the administration changeWhat are you talking about support from the admin? Yep. I'm guessing Wiscy wishes they had Leonhard.Fickell was lucky to make it through the season with the apathy that set in with their fan base. Win vs Washington may have bought him an extra year. Wisconsin won't ever be as successful as they previously were.Won't be successful with Fickell present...
I think he is but the talent isn’t there for him as he tried changing this program to air raid offense without the players he needed … I say breadWisconsin won't ever be as successful as they previously were.
I think the jury's still out on Fickell, though. Tend to think he's a pretty good coach, myself

Yes he is a problem. Look what their dumbass undisciplined player did right before kick off against Iowa last fall. That is poor coaching and poor discipline. They then proceeded to get their *** kicked.I don't think Fickell's coaching abilities are the problem,.. His approach just doesn't apply easily at Wisconsin.
