It's a great sign that Mason Williams is shooting it so well, at least according to Mason Williams. I hear Mason Williams is also the best ball handler and best looking player, according to the same source. I hope he is sharing this intel with the coaches. Sounds like something Mo Williams needs to know.

The information I posted taken from an interview on YouTube and the kid sounds confident but not cocky. anyway he mentioned that his score was 83, Uzi's was 82, Noah"s was somewhat lower and Millie was lower than Noah. He didn't say what the numbers mean I assume they're not percentages.

It wasn't just him sayinh it though, I know for a fact his mom backed up every word and she heard it directly from his dad...

This according to Mason WIlliams.
1. Mason Williams
2 Uzi N"Diaye
3. Tent Noah
4. (MILLIE) Momlilovich

He was also surprised by Moreno's outside shooting, wasn't expecting that.

I also have read that Morton and McBride have shot it well
It's early, but isn't that only one (1) starter ??

You are right it's way too early to take much away from the first week of practice and it could be that Uzi does start I don't know I'd prefer McBride at the four but who knows. and we'll see how this continues and if Mason WIlliams is what it appears he is making himself to be. I have not had a response from one of the team managers about this general observation about Williams.

Momcilovic is just getting used to new surroundings and new teammates. He will scorch the bottoms of the nets.

Something interesting as a follow-up and that is the team manager I was hoping to hear from has not seen the team yet because he's in Colorado Springs at the USA u17 tryouts and what is more interesting is that is also when our staff is going to be meeting with Jamal Crawford who is also there

I heard that we have 3 guys who haven't missed a free throw all summer...or something like that.

My dad was at Rupp for the Tayshaun game vs UNC and he came home talking about how Carrier didn't miss in warmups lol it's crazy that it's a big joke around here because he's one of those stereotypical fans that crack me up
That one TP hit from the center court logo was insane, the best part is the fact it was against the "Tar *****" i hate those ******* with every ounce of my soul, even worse than Duke.

What do you think is the reason so many players over the years can shoot so well in practice but it doesn't translate to games? Is just simply that they change their form or something because of nerves?

I don't think it actually is all that many. Nerves can play a role but it is likely more to do with defensive game conditions in most cases. Some guys feel more freedom to let it fly in practice and may be more hesitant in game conditions due to their role on the team as well. It is typically those considered role players as opposed to those who log major minutes that you hear this with.

So mason Williams said he’s the best shooter? Hmm. Alrighty.
I’m pretty sure Kentucky is still using that tracking system that even tracks the height and arc of every shot taken. Those numbers would be readily available to the team. Everyone on the team would know who is shooting it best.

Let's get a list of shooting rankings when they are being heavily guarded. I don't put much stock in shooting ability in practice one way or the other.
Exactly. Noah and the dude that went to Ole Miss were apparently sharp shooters. I don’t care if you can make them in practice, make them when it counts. Speaking of Noah, I pray to God we are good enough to where he doesn’t see a second of PT. Dude is garage.

Wow, Dudah. That's pretty harsch. When he is on the floor he does hustle, rebound , and gives 100%. He doesn't have a lot to work with athletically, but I hope he can find some consistency in his game like Cameron Mills and Chris Harrison did back in the days. He seems to be a great teammate. I will always support and pull for a home state young man like him.
