We're getting good players in most positions in this class. But it's a head scratcher why we have so far struck out on the highly ranked wide receivers we were after. With the number one quarterback in the class, one would think they would be banging on the door to get in.
Pulling a recruit from St John Bosco is a great pull from Coach Williams. Sua Lefotu is also from that HS. I hope he gets some playing time at DT this year he looked good in the spring
Safety, corner, quarterback, offensive line, and even running back looks good to really good on paper. WR, TE, LB, and DL is another story, although I know some really like the DL class so far. Most of the DL were not very highly recruited.
That kid has some long as arms and legs. Reminds me of Joey Porter Jr for my Steelers. Doesn't have great speed but his length keeps him close almost all the time. He will get stronger and a bit quicker I think . But he's talented for sure. Another good get from Williams. Him and Jeep doing work.

I loved the DL myself. Think we need a high end pass rusher in the worst way. The other commit is solid but not a great pass rusher.

Now that we have a recruiting expert on here, what is your take on the other recruits in this class?
Definitely agree, but after left tackle it's probably the hardest position to recruit high end talent. We haven't had anybody since Gregory so it's hard to even remember what it's like have a elite pass rusher!
Can Williams Nwaneri be that player for us?
Ability wise maybe, but I don't know that he has the motor. We'll find out this year, hopefully.
Very true. Id settle for a "good" edge. I thought Prince U would be that guy but we know how that turned out. That's definitely a position where u recruit "guys" hard to develop and expensive as hell in the portal.
