While much of what Grinnell says is true, I think it was a bug mistake not obliterating the government and IRGC. I would have figured out how to help the Iranian people overthrow it. I will say at least one of those carrier groups has been out at sea far too long though. Maybe that is what has been the issue.

The quote was from a supposedly private dinner and is part of a book being released by 2 NYT reporters that is a hit piece on Trump. In their publicity they are promising lots of juicy details from private meetings. Presumably someone else was at the dinner and divulged what Bezos said to these reporters. I guess that is Washington but I never would do that.

It will take a short while for Trump's approval rating to dip into the 20's, but there will be a complete and utter collapse after images of him signing a MOU in Versailles that is comparable to the complete capitulation of Germany that ended WWI soaks into the American people. It will take a while for them to accept that everything he has said is total B.S.: we won the war on the first day; we destroyed their military, their leadership; we did not overlook them cutting off the Strait; we will liberate the people of Iran that we came to help; and finish the job as the entire ME demanded. If Iran does not give up in two weeks, 48 hours, tomorrow the US will obliterate them. More importantly, the American people will all, except the MAGA circle on this Board, realize that the emperor has no clothes, he is not a brilliant or very smart person, just the opposite, he is not capable of strategic planning, he is not a tough guy, but a big mouth bully coward, he is not the World's best negotiator, he is not a good deal maker and more importantly he will surrender to a third rate power, giving Iran everything it wants, to save his personal image or favorability ratings. It is clear that it is all about him, and the US's best interests are not his concern. He has led the most embarrassing international action and the only surrender/capitulation the U.S. has ever seen. How will that damage the American psyche and image of itself? It will be a cataclysmic mid-term and completion of his term for Trump, MAGA and the Republicans in/running for office.
You’re a dumbass

A squish is on the struggle bus. This squish thinks it’s OK for an employer to force individuals to promote their political/moral views for them. This action is unconstitutional, but the squish is a compliant, government-loving creature that considers players who actually have the backbone to take a stand as clickbait. The moron mental lightweight proves over and over again why he/she is a squish. If MLB had a Christian Night and fined players who were Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and more for not wearing apparel that promotes Christianity, the MLB would be violating those players personal rights guaranteed in the Constitution and specifically in the bill of rights. The same applies to a minor league team.

Solyndra was just the initial display of Barry’s lack of business acumen.

The obama center is 220 ft tall, or about the size of a 20 story office building and cost about $1billion, including $120+ million they are willing to own up to coming from taxpayers. There are lots of comparisons out there but a tall garbage can seems apt. What could possibly justify building it so big?

May seem like a silly thing to catch all of the attention, but the constant algae and now the peeling paint symbolizes, epitomizes the complete lack of competence and the gross corruption of Trump's administration and his no bid contracts generating inflated sums and probable kickbacks. Also, it conveys those points to those who do not pay a lot of attention to government, or politics, or news.

You are nothing more than a little twig instigator. You criticize all things Trump and everyone who supports him. Your maga meme proves that it’s YOUR emotions that aren’t stable. A true high IQ, stable genius would never stoop to such lows. Alas, here you are….🤣
Ah yes. The thread full of Loomer, Eagleman, Robby Starbucks, Died Suddenly, and X22 is far too classy for a meme.

If you weren’t so emotionally attached to your reality show host, you wouldn’t consider criticism a personal insult. You’re pretty dumb though so I get it.

I am pretty excited about the Vance dressing down some Ukrainian American (notwithstanding that Vance's heritage American BS is the same exact thing as that Ukrainian American is doing, putting extra weight on one's own heritage when considering current issues), because it opens up this discussion.

America stands for something greater than race, ethnicity, blood and soil, and all the other stupid BS that people use to divide. It stands for principles liberty, equality before the law, and individual rights.

At the current moment - with both leaders engaged in foreign conflicts, who is representing that spirit better. Zelenskyy ... whose country offended Russia by moving towards the open societies of the West and is fighting (pretty successfully) against a superior foe on paper???

Or Trump ... who is cutting and running because a bunch of religious zealots are holding him hostage over a body of water he could take back but at a political cost???

Seems like a pretty easy choice for me!

ZELENSKYY 2028!.

The fact that you react like a child to all things Trump and Trump supporters suggests that it is actually you who is pretty dumb. And so are the other cackling hens who drift in and out of this thread.

I have no sympathy for the Trump cultists on here. Go read the start of this thread. Y’all were generally pretty brutal, cackling the whole while, and the entire time you guys had it all wrong. What goes around comes around.

It’s so stupid that you all use the phrase “cultists”. You either don’t know the definition of cultist or are being intentionally ignorant. My guess is you know the definition and are being intentionally ignorant.
None of us worship Donald freaking Trump. We think he’s our best chance at starting to get our country back on track and beating the wicked progressive commies who are openly trying to fundamentally change our country (and in a very bad way). Trump is seen as the beginning of what’s essentially a counter revolution. The left absolutely is waging a revolution and admit it publicly. The good thing is that Trump is only the beginning. Future leaders on our side will be better and more effective. The left has started a fight against us and it only takes one person to start a fight. Whether you want to be in a fight or not, if you get punched in the mouth, guess what? You’re in a fight. We have a long way to go and Trump is the first president that I’ve seen that has begun to fight back. As irritating as the hyenas on here are, I think they want the same things that Trump supporters want but want to take a different path to get the end result.
Time will tell if we “had it all wrong” but I’m not yet convinced we did.

We are way past the point of you guys having it right, that’s for sure. Go back and look at what you guys all said was going to happen.
Also, there is no left and right, that’s an outdated and oversimplified construct. There is right and wrong, and both of the “left and right” “leaders” lately have been wrong and aren’t worthy of being elected (with rare exceptions).

I get it. I’d be pretty embarrassed if I were you too. I don’t think you’re smart enough to ever realize you’ve been duped so it must be pretty confusing for you.

Very typical of the MAGA fan bois here to play victim when they look stupid. I wouldn’t expect anything less.
