So more has come out beyond the original video or at least the clip

He asked the manager if it would be ok to use the women’s restroom with his girls which the manager said was totally fine and made sure it was clear.

The police actually did show up and tell him he did nothing wrong. Douchebag kept acting a fool so the manager and the police asked him to leave. The girls got free food and slushies.
I was hoping for the *** hole's sake that dad barged in there like he was entitled to it and scared his wife. Nope. 100% Karen behavior by Starkville man. Dad did everything right if he cleared it with the manager.

I disagree in this case. The guy didn't do anything wrong. Didn't assault anybody, didn't say anything controversial. Was just, like you said, being a dick. And I could see the situation playing out, his wife and old MIL in the wheelchair, open the door and are all like "oh my heavens you young whippersnappers" and he springs into hero mode.

The dad did, however, venture into legal gray area (entering a women's bathroom). AND.....something happened before the video that prompted him to start recording. Perhaps he then started being slow and taking his time.

Like I said, it's all freaking dumb. No idea why this went viral. Who the heck even cares.
I’m willing to bet that if he had calmed the F down and apologized to the guy after the cop got there he could have averted all of this. Instead he quadrupled down.

once again, he made little girls cry and obviously didn’t give a ****.

Again, he asked the manager beforehand and no one was in there. This all would have taken 5 minutes.

I don't know about the rest of y'all but I don't just go around yelling at strangers and scaring their two young daughters and making them cry even on my worst days. Maybe that's just me though.
"Worst days" is pretty broad beyond yelling uncontrollably at strangers, yes.

Correct. He had several opportunities to disengage and let it go. Nevertheless, he persisted.

There’s no legal gray area. The dad was on private property and asked permission from the owner/agent to enter into an area, with said permission being granted. This is simple.

In that case, fine. Still don't think the guy should lose his job.

I know I posted about Tommy Lahren making her husband use the bathroom in the hotel lobby when they stayed in a hotel and some on here agreed with her and said they would do the same for their wife. Wonder how they would handle it?

With that said both of these guys were idiots. The father with the daughters sure took his sweet time as if no women might need to use the bathroom. If you have to do this, get out as soon as possible. The loudmouth was wrong also. Both people displayed zero courtesy and pure selfishness.

I never had problems like that when I was in my early fatherhood time with 2 daughters. Maybe people were just more courteous back then or I just had a very good don't 17 with me demeanor.
I believe Tommy Lahren is a grifter, but if her husband does that, he has to be cool with her having a BF too, right?

He probably doesn’t either. But he gave the decision makers in the equation plenty of reason to pull the trigger.

The fact that he could never back the 17 off, apparently even when management and law enforcement kicked him out of the store, tells me all I need to know.

I have a feeling his bosses were familiar with this type of behavior.

She sucks so bad. You see that rant back in 2020 talking about 'where are all the good men' or something like that. Bltch would be horrible to live with 80% of the time.

So, I thought I was going to have a Karen after me last night. I was in Sam's with my 5-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son. My son recently was potty trained, and after we ate pizza (Sam's has the best pizza deal in town), he tells me he has to tinkle. I am like, oh no, what to do with my daughter. I am not going to leave her alone outside the bathroom. Personally, I was like, honestly, I feel safer in the women's; a lot of old creepy guys were in there last night. My hand was dealt when I saw the women's was shut down for cleaning. I yelled in, and it was clear. We rushed in, and I told my daughter, eyes on me the whole time. We had a clear bathroom until we got to hand washing (Sam's has lower kids' sinks, which is nice), but while we were washing hands, some old guy comes in and stares at us for a minute before he walked to the urinal. We got out before he finished.
A few notes:

  • I wish we would just build single-family restrooms everywhere. With kids, just plain men's and women's suck. When I am with just my daughter, it is always a pain. I used to travel with a little potty in my truck.
  • Any restroom that just has the hand blowers can kiss my butt. Paper towels are the only way to go with kids, and honestly, they work better. If someone ran for president and promised to make paper towels a restroom requirement, they would have my vote.
  • A big F U to Target and Republicans that made restrooms such a big deal. I miss the days when no one gave two craps (word play) about which restroom you used because we were all there to get in and out. 20 years ago, I was in Cali and had a woman walk up to the urinal next to me to piss. Personally, it gave me and my buddy the biggest laugh. We still talk about that story and agree it might have been better if she went to the other one. Also, I will be the first to admit, as someone that once worked on the road a lot, I have destroyed a lot of ladies' rooms because the men's was taken or broken. I actually had this happen a few years back. I got in and out fast, but as I was walking down the hallway after I was done, I saw a mom with three kids coming. They had no idea it was me, but she was taking those kids into a war zone. As I was pumping gas, I saw her coming to the car next to mine where her husband was pumping gas. The kid says, "Daddy, someone made a big stinky." His dad responded with, "Son, you will be there one day."
