Watch us dance into victory at midterms.

Trump knew the public support wasn't there and wisely exited. He did not let Iran draw him into a forever war with ground troops etc. Their leadershop and military are decimated. Is it better or worse than Obama's deal? I, for one, could not care any less how the lefties want to frame it. Iran wont be getting a bomb anytime soon. Their leadership is gone, their military is gone.

The economy is about to explode in growth, all these companies making record investments in R&D are not going to miss. As @hawkeyetraveler noted yesterday, it's all about the economy. The war will be in the rear view mirror at mid-terms. So, get your licks in now because no one is going to care in a couple months. The deal will be viewed as acceptable by the market and hence people's wallet.

And there it is. In the end, none of these magats are patriotic at all. They dont care if trump has severely weakened us as a nation.

They just care about owning the libs and 100% fealty to trump.

This may not be a popular opinion but I'd rather have this bad deal for the US over keeping this war going and destroying the global economy.

Trump f'ed this up so bad, Iran had him over the barrel and they knew it and got everything they could out of him
I had the same thought, at least this didn't devolve into ground troops and years of pain (gas prices, broad inflation, incremental DoWAR budget increases). The optics are absolutely insane, but this is likely the best outcome available as the solution was always going to be "just throw money at them".

Why does MAGA keep saying, “this isn’t the final agreement. Until I see that, I can’t make an opinion” like you’re some diplomat who will be handed the final copy?

It’s hard for me to believe you’re too dumb to understand how bad America looks right now because of one person, the President. So then what is it? Why are you going to defend Trump until the very end? Do you understand what just happened and what is happening? America just lost a war, gave an enemy $300 billion, and showed that enemy they basically control the world economy. Like that actually happened. It’s not made up, it’s not fabricated, it’s not an over exaggeration. That’s real life. And instead of being outraged like all of America should be, you’re acting like you can’t make an opinion until you see the final copy, and even then you’ll be skeptical.

I hope you understand that Trump is going to be forced to resign. That’s going to happen. He’s not finishing out his term. This is by far the biggest blunder by a modern President in US history and you keep wanting to support him.

I want you to know that you can be a Republican and also be outraged. Like it’s ok. This isn’t a sport. It’s our country. Stop dick riding Trump and be pissed for once, Ned.
You are aware that all this mou does is create the stage for additional negotiations. Right?
Thats why I don’t like this process
The mou calls for 60 day ceasefire and negotiation on a lot of issues

But we are already giving them money.

trump lost the initiative when he allowed Iran to sell some of its oil while we were still engaged in active conflict with them. What a signal of weakness that set the tone for this disastrous MOU. Here, go get yourselves some more cash while you are shooting at our soldiers.

By the way, it is interesting that Vance and the right-wing news ecosystem are pivoting exactly like you are. Trump is the only one still claiming that this is a "great deal". Everyone else has pivoted from claiming that to saying "well this isn't the final deal, so it does not really count"

How many detailed letters of intent / MOUs have you worked on that varied significantly from the final agreement?

They added to the scope of the project goober. Hundreds of millions of private funds were still raised by Trump for the project How much money did Barry raise gor that basketball facility he had built???
OIC now Gomer. After they promised us the ballroom nobody asked for would be financed with private donations, we only have to pay an extra 300M and 1B for security because they added to the plan. That makes it fine! Silly me...

@fatpiggy @WDDT @NorthernHawkeye @TigerGrowls

Please defend this surrender, I mean, MOU as a result of our attack that cost over 50 billion, 15 lives, 500 plus injured. Making some popcorn. I really can’t wait to see you all dance.

FYI this completely locks up Trump’s legacy will be near unanimously portrayed as the worst president in our 250 year history as a nation. I hope you enjoy watching what happens to him these next 2.5 years if he survives this (and McDonalds)

OK, I read a synopsis of the difference between the Trump deal and the jcpoa....there are some differences...but not any significant ones. The problem is the MOU is not the final agreement..so we really don't know what the final agreement will be. So I can see the reason for criticism, but it might be too early as there is strictly an MOU not an agreement. ..just my perpective
Keep hoping and praying lol.

you’re almost more pathetic than the true believers 😂

Yes, we are lucky this was done. We were very unlucky to even be in the situation unnecessarily. Trump's legacy is toast.

They are not giving Iran 300B in cash to spend as they please mofo. The funds will be loans from the Arab states that will be tied to rebuild projects. You dont know shit_ other than what bluesky and chuckle Schumer told you on msdnc.
There is absolutely no way that any of that money gets secretly funneled to weapons or the Iranian military because other Islamic states will keep an eye on it.

Harris was an idiot. She did not have the capability to read a playbook. She was the worst candidate in US political history. She lost in a LANDSLIDE. All 7 swing states. Popular vote. She was just an awful, awful candidate.

And she was still light years more qualified and worthy than your cult leader, Trump Jong Un.

Remember, the "leaked version" of the MOU was completely BS, until it was exactly the same as the official version.

Read the actual MOU language for #6 - "the United States undertakes.....". We OWN throwing $300B at Iran. What an absolute capitulation by this administration.

How do you not see *any* significant differences between the two documents.

Also, they’re being weasely about the 300 billion. We may not be paying it directly out of the treasury but they’re getting 300 billion from somewhere because of the MOU
Exactly, who cares where it is coming from. We know where it is going and we have a pretty good idea what it will be used for.

Yes, a gift is what Trump handed Iran when he attacked them with either no plan, or the worst thought out plan that was ever conceived, and then had to surrender to them and finance his mistake. A line of credit is what you'll never have because you're dumb and poor.
Lol, keep swinging little buddy.

We are releasing their funds, with interest, just for signing the MOU.

They could turn around on Saturday and start launching missiles at our bases again and all that would have happened was them getting between $24 and $100 bil depending on which source is correct.

I think I agree with you. I think it was a critical mistake to stop fighting and agree to a ceasefire. And, I'm not a fan of this MOU and then lets negotiate path.

well, I'm not sure I'm pivoting. As I've posted..didn't like the ceasefire, don't like the MOU then negotiate strategy...

and, Vance is right, this isn't the final deal, this just starts 60 day negotiating, a process that doesn't make sense to me....

Trump should have made the security costs known up front..what he did was knock down the wall and then tell everyone Oh we need 3oo million, or whatever the number is, for the security part.

dude Ned is the worst. he is a 90 year old boomer who masquerades as a moderate but is 100% MAGA and totally incapable of criticizing anything Trump says or does. he will literally BoTH sIdES you to death or feign ignorance like Mike Johnson when you hit him with legitimate points. not worth your time.
