Lack of focus gets you beat. Not saying that play is going to get us beat, but you have to stay focused. Most of us have seen what happens when you have a loss of focus right here in Omaha 20 years ago.
What does “developing more depth” mean? Flannery, Chewy, Padgett, Seagraves all have 10+ appearances. Matthijs has 25. How much do they have to pitch to be developed?
Nicholson didn’t slack off. Maybe the only college player in the nation that legs out that play. And he couldn’t load up on the move. The extra velocity would have taken time and same result

We were in a shift and Coop had to field a ball he normally doesn't have to go so far for, but he still showed no sense of urgency. It has cost us big time
