It would be great for Rose to get out of this and then let someone else finish it. My choice would not be Globe, but I could understand.

Crazy thoughts about not bringing in Glauber. He’s barely thrown, he could throw 30 and be completely fine for the weekend, and as over as this feels 1 swing could make it a game again.
If he doesn’t throw today, he’ll throw 9 pitches between the 12th and 20th. We haven’t managed him like that all year, as far as I remember.

Well, hate that Rose comes out under these circumstances, but hats off to him. He settled us down and gave our guys the confidence that they wouldn't be fighting from behind when we bat. Great outing. And yeah - he should be the #3 starter. He has earned it.

There’s an argument to be made that you want to get Glauber on the mound today for some level of work regardless of the score.
Yeah, I get it. Just thinking about how big 3-0 vs. Clemson was for Globe and thought it'd be huge for him to have his own moment like that. They know him and his limits better than me though and I'm certainly not upset at less pitches today in case we need him Monday
