I mean maybe, but 3B is a far more pressing need at present time. If Rocco doesn’t make it to campus, we’re going to have to keep Woodson at SS and won’t be able to move him there, either.Wouldn’t be surprised to see him at 1B

I didn't see any mention of him even playing 3rd, just relief pitching and 1st base but I wasn't looking for 3rd base info eitherI mean maybe, but 3B is a far more pressing need at present time. I think this is sullys replacement. Looked like he was DH a good bit at army.

No player transfers, and no coach tries to recruit, a damned DH. Everybody is aiming to play on the field.I think Christman is Sully’s replacement.
My neighbor attended Naval academy and played football. He had a roommate drafted by the Packers and the Packers had to pay everything back for his 4 years at Navy to get him out of his service commitment. Not sure how it works now but that's what they had to do back then. I bet it's the same today.Didn't their RB from the football team transfer our a few years ago to? I think you have to pay money to cover your scholarship, but I'm sure the NIL money will cover it.
If you multiply his stats to account for the additional games Reese played, you get pretty close to his numbers, but fall short just about everywhere I think. So not super encouraging when thinking about the differences in competition, but that was as a true freshman. And of course you don't usually just replace one of your best players with a new person at the same position without a dropoff."Apples to Oranges" comparison this season:

Surpasses several, actually: 77 hits, 13 doubles, 2 triples, 27 home runs, 90 walks, and 66 strikeouts. So slightly short on hits, short on doubles, and slightly more K's.If you multiply his stats to account for the additional games Reese played, you get pretty close to his numbers, but fall short just about everywhere I think. The graphic in the OP says “Army transfer 3B commits to Mississippi State”, and the OP refers to him as Ace’s replacement…..Ace being our 3B this past season.I didn't see any mention of him even playing 3rd, just relief pitching and 1st base but I wasn't looking for 3rd base info either
I went to the Army website and high school bio and saw no mention of him playing 3rd, just 1B and RPThe graphic in the OP says “Army transfer 3B commits to Mississippi State”, and the OP refers to him as Ace’s replacement…..Ace being our 3B this past season.
Well you can certainly get it now, with ye ole portal
One thing's for sure. The old Polk II / Cohen era days of a bunch of 5'10" 165 lb singles hitters are long gone.
We played in the national championship with Sam Frost starting at third base and Demarcus Henderson as a corner outfielder. Wild times.
I read recently that the payback is about $400K.My neighbor attended Naval academy and played football. Frost wasn’t a bad defender and we didn’t have.a ton of offensive depth.True, but we also had a couple future major leaguers in Frazier and Renfroe in that lineup. Teams weren’t as loaded at every position as NIL allows for now.
I can’t remember, why was Detz DHing? Didn’t he play third earlier in the year?
