Default aggressive bites you sometimes.....sometimes it steals you runs.....sometimes outs
Not a bad decision from Owen, the bad throw aided it. And the catcher just made a fantastic throw.
Great play from the catcher, not worth the risk from Hull but whatever. Let’s go Paulie
I like aggressiveness, but man you don't want to make that out at third with no outs.
Agree give the catcher credit for closing the ground on that missed cutoff and throwing a seed to third. If he doesn’t play that perfectly, Hull would make it.
Tbf, if the throw is just “bad” he’s safe. It was so bad the catcher (who played left against us Sunday) made a really nice play

Catcher made a play. All there was to it Would rather be aggressive than not. Keep chipping.
Never supposed to get the first or last out of an inning at third base.
Wouldn't have been a bad decision by Hull if the throw had been closer to the plate for a potential play. Left fielders throw was so off-line, play at third was all they had.
We cannot make these idiotic mistakes. You are in scoring position on 2B you NEVER make the 1st ir 3rd out at 3B. I'm sure Forbes didn't send him. This is not the regular season. These kind of mental errors can send you home.
Exactly. The bad throw to home enabled it. WVU got lucky, but credit to the catcher, too.
Not sure why you’re trying for third against that catcher with no one out. Bit of a rally killer. I do appreciate the run, though.

Think it wasn’t worth the risk but also think he makes it more times than he doesn’t.
They are not going to have a lot of options going forward though if they win. The guy we played the other day threw a crap ton of pitches and he is coming off Tommy John
Sure but some of us have been saying all year that the bullpen was not getting chances all spring. Skip has pitched well when used, so has Boston. And they definitely have compared to Folger’s numbers. We aren’t just bringing it up now.
