I'm surprised- but I guess I should not be - as to what some folks will tweet as fact - and couldn't be more false....and then it spreads like a wildfire.

Have trust in the reporting here and reputable sources of info and don't get jacked up about randoms tweeting or posting on other social media platforms.

In general that's why I initially asked - seemed like there was some smoke, but I know how social media can be, running with everything. And I have some connections but not the ones I'd want to ask "hey, is Glauber getting bags thrown at him from SEC teams?"

it's got as much to do with the dynamics of the sport itself as anything else, but it's pretty conspicuous that this team has been pretty monochrome the past few years. what do we have, 1.5 black players across the rosters of the last 3 years?

edit to clarify: the 0.5 is because Cost was a part-timer, not a commentary on degree of blackness.

I'm not going to derail this thread by going further down this discussion other than to say that clearly, multiple people have noticed. Joey Powell and I talked about it on Twitter this time last year. it doesn't have to mean anything, but we don't have to pretend the situation is something it's not.

True. The less we fixate on race, especially with society continuing to become more and more multicultural and multiracial, the better off we will all be. So let’s not keep score like race matters and then maybe we will be enlightened enough to understand it doesn’t.
