Is Pope about to pull off the greatest 180 off all time? That man was dead in the water less than a month ago and, assuming this becomes official, now gets three big time recruits in two weeks? Just wow.
Iād be excited about this but I think itād be the Hawthorne things. Heād only be 17.
He is considered the #1 international prospect and potential top 5 NBA draft pick. Hawthorne has tons of upside but this kid is much farther ahead.

Seeing people say he would be a starter...is that accurate? That would be great if he's that big of an impact, but he's pretty young. Just curious what type of impact he can make.

If he continues losing 12-14/games per year it doesnāt matter what the mantra is.
i dont think he starts unless pope plans on playing small with diallo, wilkins, nikola, and milan. he is young and has not played basketball at this level. i could see him taking kam's role as first off the bench, especially since kam is not working with the team.
I think he will start no question IMO. Depending on the matchup, he could play the 2 and Momcilovic the 3, or he could play the 3 and Momcilovic the 4. Doesn't matter, Pope will play 10 guys good minutes
Man I haven't seen a reliable source confirm it, but there are rumors flying around that this is a done deal
