She had no response.

They went to commercial break. Lol.

FTR, this is failed logic. It is true that border security has been a problem. It is true that many bad people needed to be deported. It is also true that the United States Constitution is being trampled on daily and that ICE agents should not be authorized to violate people’s 1st, 4th, and 5th amendment rights.

JD Vance did not address any of that. He simply avoided the question/issue entirely and pivoted to a “whataboutism.” And you lapped it up. Two things can be true at once, Scrub. FTR, I would have done the exact same thing in Vance’s position, but the American people need to start pursuing more intellectual honesty and far less tribalism.

I think we can both agree he would be an improvement over trump in 2028??
Without question.

The problem is I don’t know what he truly stands for because he has to remain loyal to all things Trump. If he is indeed the 2028 nominee, I will scrutinize him carefully. If I think his stated policy objectives are sensible and conservative and he is capable of distancing himself from a lot of the Trump bullsh*t, then I will probably be comfortable in voting for him.

If not, I will vote 3rd party, especially if someone like Gavin Newsom is the Democratic nominee. Actually, if Newsom is indeed the Democratic pick, then I would probably plug my nose, like I did when voting for Kamala, and vote Vance with almost no exceptions.

I’m tired, though, of the two-party system.

I give JD Vance props for having the stones to go on a show like that.
Agreed, I don't like the guy and he played dumb when they asked him about the erasure of black history, but I have to applaud him for keeping his cool and being cordial and non-inflammatory no matter how much they ganged up on him. We could use a lot more of that.

The only credit he gets is going on. He lied, deflected or down played everything. I enjoyed him getting called out directly with actual follow up unlike the puppets that usually are the ones asking him soft ball questions.

Lol. Sigh you get it a lot of the time and then back to these takes sometimes as well. Baby steps.
What don’t I get, Chis? Pray tell.

You want a concrete example of why I would vote Vance over Newsom in a heartbeat? Here goes:

See, Chis, those are called facts. That’s precisely what happens when radical leftist policies take over a state. And as much as you guys like to derisively refer to Iowa as “Mississippi North,” it would appear such a moniker would be a slap in the face to Mississippi. Meanwhile, the liberal utopia of California is massively failing their children in reading and math despite all the money that California throws at education.

In short, spare me.

He did, actually. He called the local police authorities, the Chief of Police in Florida in 2006 regarding Epstein. He also specifically talked to the FBI. How ignorant are you?
Yes, he called them AFTER the investigation had started in order to have an alibi that he was first to call so they wouldn't focus on his social circles.

But strangely enough, in 2019, he claimed he had no idea that Epstein abused underage girls.

How do you square that circle?

Spare us the details. Just say “I am a moron, I voted for the dumbest candidate in US political history.”

She really was that bad.
