His wife’s Venmo is @Ali-Jones-43......some of us have been sending them some funds so they don't have to worry about buying food while going through all this.Paul has been very sick for a number of months....it's been one thing hitting him after another.

Update - Paul has been put in a regular room. From reading updates - he was knocking on death's door for a couple of days. In the words of Jack Cristil - a miraculous recovery by Paul Jones.

I've pounded on Paul's arse a few times over the years on certain articles he wrote, but I still respect him as a journalist and as far as I know, he's a decent human being. I would never wish his ill health issues on anybody. He could be like me (severely diabetic) and diabetes attacks every part of your body's functioning systems. And eventually, as you get older, diabetes usually wins out unfortunately. Hope and pray he can recover from whatever bad things are trying to get him.

Paul posted today on the pay board. He seems to hopefully be on the mend. His post is below.

Very emotional for me to see prayers and support on here and I’ve tried to start this thread several times but got too emotional. Jesus is my fortitude, my family has been my driving force and you guys and girls here have been my strength and support. Prayers obviously work and you guys are proof of that. Thank you so much for the funds risen and that is quite humbling.
Long long road ahead mentally and physically, just to even walk again right but I have no doubt God will get me there.

Finally in a regular room today and started a new kidney dialysis system so had another surgery. Hopefully this one works better and doctors believe it will. Been in ICU for last eight days and still got a tube in my nose (have for 10 straight days or had to wear some kind of face covering). Hope it comes off tonight.

iI’ll write more wherever I get home and I am so grateful for yall. I am just today learning how bad it all was. My wife has been incredibly great as she always is.

They told me today that they lost me twice last week but brought me back. Scary stuff to hear in the least. God is great and love all off yall.
