Since the other thread has gone off the rails.
TT gets booted and Nebraska takes their placeHmmm...will this make TT a free agent to join a new conference or will this create a situation where all the other schools in the Big 12 look to bounce?
TT gets booted and Nebraska takes their place
Would unironically be the best thing for Nebraska footballTT gets booted and Nebraska takes their place
Not your dumb azz comments again.Would unironically be the best thing for Nebraska football
Would you actually want that? Seriouisly?TT gets booted and Nebraska takes their place
Would you actually want that? Seriouisly?
The B12 is not the conference we left and it would cost us about $50M/yr
What does that have to do anything? Now go ahead and list all the football titles that $50M/yr has bought us. I'll wait.
Not my bitcch following me around everywhere againNot your dumb azz comments again.
I never said that I would want that.Would you actually want that? Seriouisly?

Oh for sureI never said that I would want that.
The b12 would take us back in a heartbeat though
I can do both which go hand in hand.I don't root for the amount of money that NU generates.
What does that have to do anything?
You think we'll get titles if we get rid of the money?
Reminds me of thisWhat does you cheering for money that only lines the higher ups' pockets and translates to zero success on the actual football field have to do with anything? Ummmm, it's pretty much the entire point.
I cheer for things that make me happy. You go ahead and cheer for things that make other people happy.
Do you honestly think $50M/yr doesn't make a positive difference for the athletic department. That's a stance you're actually taking? What does you cheering for money that only lines the higher ups' pockets and translates to zero success on the actual football field have to do with anything? Do you always argue nonsense?Do you always twist the words of people you're trying to argue with like a woman?
He’s the big clarkeye fan anti Nebraska, and comes over to take a dump now and then.

Do you believe the Big12 would be a great conference to be in for the future? You don't even know what I'm arguing. Because you keep twisting what I say to try to fit your narrative. Waste of time to try to have a sports discussion with people like you. But have fun at your next B1G check cashing party.
Best comment I've read on here in a while. Yeah, we get more money but what good does that do us if it just gets spent and we continue to suck at football? They make more money just so that they can spend more money. And also dream up ways to get more revenue out of the loyal fan base. Now go ahead and list all the football titles that $50M/yr has bought us. I'll wait.
Since Pelini left name all the Big12 titles we would have won?Best comment I've read on here in a while. Right?I don't think it will matter one way or the other. The dust will settle where it will settle. It's not like every team left in the Big 12 will just fold up their football programs at some point. People act like anyone who doesn't have a seat at the SEC or B1G table is just going to file bankruptcy and shut it down. That's not happening. Just like all the teams that stayed in the Big 12 when we took our ball and left were just fine.
There is zero question in my mind that our football program would have been just as good/bad had we stayed as it was after we left. Only difference, to us as fans, is we'd have maintained some real rivalry games, had better away game travel options, more culturally like-minded opponents, etc.
And maybe even some better results on the field, who knows on that part. What if we could have averaged finishing in the top third of the Big 12 over the last 15 years? Would you as a fan rather have that minus the B1G check that we've seen nothing from? Or would you rather keep finishing in the bottom half of the B1G and get to celebrate those B1G checks?
I have no doubt that, even with identical results on the field, I would have personally enjoyed the last 15 years more if we were in the Big 12 than I have in the B1G. That B1G media check has done nothing for me, or the football program in terms of wins and losses.
I noticed you couldn't disprove my post. He’s the big clarkeye fan anti Nebraska, and comes over to take a dump now and then.
Nebraska’s football decline over the last two decades has far less to do with conference alignment than it does with self-inflicted wounds at the top. The program's trajectory was ultimately dictated by a series of critical, failed hiring decisions at both Athletic Director and Head Football Coach.
And good luck to you in hopes of that 9th win!I noticed you couldn't disprove my post.
Good luck this season to the Huskers and that elusive 9 win season!
