Yes, if you are middle class with a mortgage you do not have the same options as an apartment renting household. I am a proponent for allowing families to do what is best for their kids both academically and athletically. I am not sure any public school system wants to be a hurdle to a child's success. It is easy to give them academic track options and a Highland Tech to excel at academically but for some reason they hate the idea the same options should be afforded to a kid who may need athletics more than they need high level academics such as (HT). There is a certain percentage of these kids who will only get to college if its an athletic scholarship, at best and at worse you would allow them to enjoy their high school athletic years playing meaningful sports at a school that fits their aspirations. The only "legal" way to get to a high school that cares about sports as much as you, should not be to sell your house and buy another house in an imaginary line. I digress, probably a topic for another thread.

South point is the kind of scrimmage that can derail your season all those chop blocks get a little risky

50+ years week 1 or week 2. So, itās always been risky. Gotta be tough for sure

Obviously Northwestern is always loaded but Hendersonville has really good skill players last year and most are back. A Shelby/Hendersonville playoff matchup would be very interesting.

Yeah 10 was Noah Gardner, he won state in diving also was in state in track. Won 300 hurdles placed 3rd in 110 and 3rd in shot put
Holy smokes! That type of athlete might not be at Gardner Webb long! Especially if starts as a true freshman

But Wolves Steamed rolled Forestview! They Didnāt complete but 1 pass in a 20 min period!
One of the coaches said 25- 13 over Kings Mountain! Championship Game! Wolves got the ball back again with a couple of seconds left! They called it
7 ON 7 is just tricky and not real football! I saw KM in the Tournament play run running back out of the back field every time with a 14 year old kid alone in the pocket!
but KM can be a handful if they can retain the freshman QB down the road!
