Always liked Spielberg’s War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise. Doesn’t seem to get any recognition, but I think it’s a good one.

Shutter Island with DiCaprio. You think you know what's happening until the second half turns everything on it's head. Really good movie that I don't remember getting a lot of buzz.
Fifth Element (Dracula 1992 is Zorg a gun runner... my favorite Bruce Willis movie)
It won 2 Oscars but I bet most don't know of it today... The Quiet Man ( John Wayne's best film and not a western)

Yeah I liked that one. Been a while. Theron = hot.
Although I suppose its a bit of a cult classic at this point.
I watch this just for Maude and Britt in a bikini for half the movie.
If you like Black Comedy and something quirky then Eating Raoul is a cult classic

I have to admit a fondness for movies that are SO BAD THAT THEY ARE GOOD. Probably everyone has seen movies like this. A few of my personal favorites are:
1. Point Break. (There used to be a nightclub in San Francisco where they would host "Point Break Night" a few times a week, where patrons would perform a dramatic reenactment of the movie. Everyone wanted to play Agent Johnny Utah: "Ya gotta go down, Bodie."
2. Dude, Where's My Car? Just exquisitely awful.
3. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. "SOH-crates." So bogus.
4. Invasion of the Body Snatchers. (The one with Donald Sutherland. Forked tongues for days.)
5. Top Gun. So over the top it is hilarious. The beach volleyball scene was gay as hell. Cruise put Kelly McGillis on the other team.
6. The Blair Witch Project, Not just horrible, but annoying. All of the characters wore a helmet cam, and everyone was continually freaked out about this supposed witch you never saw or heard. The movie was not even half over, and I was rooting wholeheartedly for the witch.
7. Napoleon Dynamite. "Watch me take my bike off this sweet jump!" "Vote for Pedro." So lame it was funny.
