Those guys spend like two hours everyday making sports takes. They’re gonna have plenty of bad ones. I’m not a Stephen A. guy but if someone had hundreds of hours of DudahUK and ITVI sports talk, you can bet we would have some doozies in there.Good for him. Talking heads usually don’t know what they are talking about.
True. I have some doozies on here lol. Those guys spend like two hours everyday making sports takes. They’re gonna have plenty of bad ones. I’m not a Stephen A. guy but if someone had hundreds of hours of DudahUK and ITVI sports talk, you can bet we would have some doozies in there.
Me too. Don’t dig em up and make me remember lolTrue. I have some doozies on here lol.
lol you brought it up bro.Me too. Don’t dig em up and make me remember lol
Wemby is a punk. These playoffs ruined his rep to most fans.Brunson, and the Knicks as a whole, were so easy to root for in the Finals. Normally I would pull for the smaller-market team but was just so obvious for me to root for the Knicks in this one. Hadn't won the title in such a long time and they were the underdogs. Played with such heart and always battled back. Had KAT who was obviously easy to root for. And found it so easy to root against Wemby on the other side.
This series sold me on him I guess. Still not a huge fan or anything but can’t say dude doesn’t have heart.Always thought we was a very good point. However, my goodness lmao
Completely agree. I hadn't watched a ton of him before as I really only pay attention to the NBA during the playoffs. But, between his actions on the court (what the heck was that stomp attempt against OG and looking like he intentionally came down in Brunson's space last game nearly injuring him) and his comments both on and off the court, he is easy to root against.Wemby is a punk. Yea I don't have a team but I was rooting for the Spurs...until I seen he was a little punk like you said. All the crying and excessive celebrations when he beat SGA in the conference finals was my first clue.Wemby is a punk. These playoffs ruined his rep to most fans.
Couldn’t have said it better myself. Exact same situation I was in. Exact. Good post.Yea I don't have a team but I was rooting for the Spurs...until I seen he was a little punk like you said. All the crying and excessive celebrations when he beat SGA in the conference finals was my first clue.
I thought he was this super calm relaxed player but he's a whiny punk and I'm glad he got egged in the head.
That and Stephen A especially is a reaction based analyst or whatever you wanna call it. He has historically bad takes regularly to get people to react. Those guys spend like two hours everyday making sports takes. They’re gonna have plenty of bad ones. I’m not a Stephen A. guy but if someone had hundreds of hours of DudahUK and ITVI sports talk, you can bet we would have some doozies in there.
That is true man, but they have some of the worst takes and years full of them. It’s just something to talk about at the end of the day, but 24/7 news was one of the worst things to happen to America imho. It’s not news, it’s opinion all day/every day framed as news. Those guys spend like two hours everyday making sports takes. They’re gonna have plenty of bad ones. I’m not a Stephen A. guy but if someone had hundreds of hours of DudahUK and ITVI sports talk, you can bet we would have some doozies in there.
His pushing dudes down kinda made me not like him as much. No reason to play like that. Playing rough or very hard is one thing. Blatant stuff like that is uncalled for but in the 80’s they would clothesline guys so what do I know.Yea I don't have a team but I was rooting for the Spurs...until I seen he was a little punk like you said. Yep. People can’t help themselves but watch and listen when “news” is mostly opinion. Fox News made it successful. I prefer boring news personally. My rule is: If I’m entertained by news, that’s a problem - find a better source.I swear ESPN comes up with a talking point and then has every on air personality repeat it all day. It’s like all those news stations that have the same exact script to start the show across the country.
Combination of it being used as background noise during menial tasks and the fact that having constant hot or strong takes gets clicks. People used to have music playing as background noise. Now it's people talking about this or that, wanting to be the loudest individual in the room.Yep. People can’t help themselves but watch and listen when “news” is mostly opinion. Stephen A Smith started out at the Philadelphia Enquirer and covered Temple and the rivalry with Cal and UMASS.Brunson won two championships at Villanova, why would anyone, especially people like Stephen A, question a point guard who has already proven he can win at a high level.
CNN started it. Damn you Ted Turner! lol.Yep. People can’t help themselves but watch and listen when “news” is mostly opinion. Fox News made it successful. I prefer boring news personally. My rule is: If I’m entertained by news, that’s a problem - find a better source.
I miss when Sports enter was awesome and I could leave it on in the back round all day.Combination of it being used as background noise during menial tasks and the fact that having constant hot or strong takes gets clicks. Yep. Same.Completely agree. I hadn't watched a ton of him before as I really only pay attention to the NBA during the playoffs. We should start a podcast lol. Those guys spend like two hours everyday making sports takes. They’re gonna have plenty of bad ones. I’m not a Stephen A. guy but if someone had hundreds of hours of DudahUK and ITVI sports talk, you can bet we would have some doozies in there.

Fox News is "fox entertainment" according to what they said in court when trying to get out of paying $700 million dollars for lying to the American people (didn't work).Yep. It stuns me that folks continue to consider the outfit that admits they flat out lie and no reasonable person would think otherwise as they are an entertainment company as anything resembling a reliable source of information.Fox News is "fox entertainment" according to what they said in court when trying to get out of paying $700 million dollars for lying to the American people (didn't work).
he s 22 year old kid …Wemby is a punk. These playoffs ruined his rep to most fans.
I think that talking heads with their evaluations and predictions will often be wrong. Some might consider that we posters are not much different from talking headsGood for him. Talking heads usually don’t know what they are talking about.
For sure. You already know Chuck doesn’t watch the NBA. He admits it. lol.I think that talking heads with their evaluations and predictions will often be wrong. Some might consider that we posters are not much different from talking heads
Too much lolcow competition right now. The quartering and reviewtechusa have that on lock.Imagine the views lol. We might become “lolcows”
They all say that. It’s ridiculous when they say number one news outlet in every commercial break. They have portrayed the news on all these shows for decades. They can’t hide behind being entertainers.Fox News is "fox entertainment" according to what they said in court when trying to get out of paying $700 million dollars for lying to the American people (didn't work).
