There are 138 Division 1 FBS football teams in the country. So, being a top 25 team means Iowa is at least in the top 18% of college football. I call that good. What’s your definition of a good football program?

I coach with an iowa fan and he said him and a lot of his iowa friends want their coach gone because they are tired of not winning more and always playing it so safe.

You’re clueless on who the players that made academic all Americans at Nebraska.lol…Nebraska academics are weak, particularly in relation to the rest of the Big 10, so it makes it easier to become an “academic all American”. See that is pretty sweet! We had another guy that posted here and he was a scout (National Recruiting Scout was his name) but he clearly covered the country, not just the Big Ten.
So, if you were in the top 18% of your graduating class…you wouldn’t consider yourself to be a “good” student?
