Ever since Cohen bought the Mets they have spent so much money and every move they have made has failed. It’s honestly crazy. They made really dumb moves the first year trying to buy a ship but lately they have made decent signings that haven’t panned out. Yeah, some franchises just seem to be almost fated for mediocrity, no matter what. You can't buy cohesion and team chemistry. Tampa and Milwaukee seem to have found the recipe for consistency long term at a solid value.
