Your opinion. Good for you.

Sure, but know that someone keeps their promise to the voters even when they do not, just because they explained it. Like, what's the point of a promise if just explaining something means you don't break the promise?
I will take Trumps track record over any other politician. He has delivered on a lot of important stuff. Democrats never keep any promises. I am not overly thrilled with Iran either but im not pulling my support for Trump over it.

I am very happy with POTUS performance.
That's what SHE said... sorry couldn't help my self.

Oh, I know that you are. Hell, Trump could come over to your house and piss in your face and you'd be on here the next day bragging about the beautiful golden summer shower. We all get that.

My point was your post: "Duh....he keeps his word and he is our guy."

So I asked about those checks he told you were coming your way. Because he keeps his word, right? So you MUST have gotten those checks, right?

Trump is not the first politician who told the voters one thing then did another...and I'll wager he won't be the last...

And he won't be the last politician to tell the voters what he is going to accomplish and not accomplish it...

well, this might not be correct, but if Trump came to your house and personally gave you a check - from DOGE - for $550, you'd complain because he said $600.

Lets be honest here, sure there are people who "worship the ground" Trump walks on, and then there are others who complain about everything Trump does... Believe not a word trump says, and then complain when something trump said doesn't happen when they didn't believe it in the first place..

In reality, Trump is just like every other president he does some things well and others not so much. Trump just bloviates more than others.

No doubt, tend to think he’s a bit prolific, but sure

Trump isn't giving anybody anything. He is only taking from us. Your arguments are terrible. It's one stupid post after another with you.

Iranian state media Mehr News has now published what it claims is the draft agreement with Trump. Here are the terms they claim is in the deal:
• A permanent and immediate cessation of war on all fronts, including Lebanon.
• The United States and its allies would be required to present reconstruction plans for Iran worth at least $300 billion.
• A U.S. commitment not to interfere in Iran’s internal affairs and to respect the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
• Full lifting of the naval blockade within 30 days.
• A U.S. commitment to withdraw its forces from areas surrounding Iran.
• Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days under arrangements determined by Iran.
• Suspension of sanctions on the sale of oil, petrochemical products, and related derivatives, along with full Iranian access to the resulting financial revenues.
• A 60-day negotiation period aimed at reaching a final agreement covering nuclear issues and the complete removal of U.S. primary and secondary sanctions, as well as the repeal of relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council and the IAEA Board of Governors.
• Reaffirmation by Iran of its commitment under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) not to produce nuclear weapons.
• During the negotiation period, the United States would commit not to deploy additional forces to the region and not to impose any new sanctions.
• The release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets during the 60-day final negotiation period. Half of this amount must be made available to Iran before negotiations begin.
• Establishment of a monitoring mechanism to oversee implementation of the agreement.
• The final agreement would be approved through a UN Security Council resolution.
• Final negotiations would not begin before the release of half of Iran’s frozen assets, the suspension of oil sanctions, and the lifting of the naval blockade.
• The final agreement would focus exclusively on the future of enriched nuclear material and uranium enrichment, sanctions relief, and a program for rebuilding Iran’s economy. Discussion of Iran’s missile program and its support for resistance groups would be definitively excluded from the agenda
Point #1 goes down in flames when Israel ignores it and resumes attacks in Lebanon.

Trump says Hormuz opens immediately, this list says "within" 30 days, whatever that means.

We agree not to meddle, but Israel isn't part of that.

Iran gets money - half up front.

Somebody explain to me what WE get out of this agreement.

It's going to be funny watching people praising the "deal" and trying to spin it into a win.

I'll make a prediction, the "deal" will look terrible for Trump so they will create a distraction from it as quick as possible.

No matter what happens, the only way this operation was going to be successful was to rely of the populist conservatives penchant for, and confidence in, making predictions about alternative history.

Just like in the Reagan thread where the most common pushback against criticism about him was, "it just felt right, and i imagine the alternative would have been worse".

I mean, the Iranians do seem to have the upper hand against the poorly led U.S. military. Lulz.
Are you really this fking dumb for a political party? Name a single, just one, U.S. official who has died? I can name no less than dozens of Iranian officials and Supreme leaders. Try some honesty. I'll tell ya what. Let's do a little Ben Franklin, shall we. You post on your side our political deaths, and I'll post on my side. Go.

You're the same fools who have yet to this day, owned your nonsense a month ago when y'all blatantly lied stating Trump had agreed to Iran 10 point deal. Lmao. You people are absolutely ignorant as hell. You actually believe you have a clue. Y'all are just a bunch of beta cucks door a political party.

That would be you. Totally unhinged with no facts.
Yes you're right. I'm currently having a ballroom built for me. Currently having taxpayers fly me out to go golfing every weekend, am having a $60 million fight for my birthday, and inside trade every Friday for the war I started which is driving up everyone's gas prices.

How silly of me to forget that I did all of this.

People have a very good reason for not believing Trump. The fact that you can't see that speaks volumes.

Beta false equivalence. Under FDR and Teddy Roosevelt Congress appropriated the funding for the additions. That is not the case with what Trump did which was not only not funded by Congress, but was also a demolition and renovation.

Idiot.

I don't know what you are trying to say. Are you saying the operation would be successful if MAGA liked it? The true measure of the operation is whether the world is better off now than before.

I'm saying this ongoing quagmire is already an abject failure and the only thing the people prosecuting this war will end up caring about is if they can convince people that want to be convinced that not doing it in the first place would have led to catastrophic ends.

Which is in reality, something nobody can be sure of.

Oh, and if they unfreeze Iran’s assets to the tune of something like $20 billion, I wonder if the MIB will still be incensed by the Obama deal that unfroze about $2 billion. 🤔
Obama unfroze $400 million. An additional $1.3 Billion in interest (a negotiated figure, to compensate for the fact that the $400 million had been frozen since 1979) was added to it, bringing the total to $1.7 Billion. Contrast that with the $24 Billion in unfrozen assets reported in the OP.
$24 Billion is a whole lot of pallets of cash.
