We have to go all in on Hutcherson!!! We have Kenny's/Deluca down low. Bachmanns/Amato in the middle, and Hutcherson would seal the deal for us at 184 or 197. TNT needs to call Jody Strittmatter(Young Guns) and get in his ear about Hutcherson. @WillieTheBrain do we have a legit shot to land Hutcherson and O'Neill?

How does Jordan Williams “stay” at Iowa when Williams released his scholarship by placing himself in the portal and it appears TnT isn’t interested in giving a scholarship to him again? With Gabe Arnold there were reliable rumblings from the word go that Arnold could potentially rejoin the Hawkeyes if he got his act together. Maybe I’ve just missed it, but I haven’t seen or heard anything along those lines regarding Williams…

Fernandez more likely to grow into 184. Hutcherson already 190 as sophomore and doesn’t look short. Way more likely to be a heavyweight than 184. Willie said we have a chance with Hutcherson , but PSU still in the lead. I would love to get him as a 197 if he doesn’t grow much, but not getting my hopes up since he fits nicely at PSU as 197 or heavyweight.
No idea on the specifics of how it all works, but JW back to Iowa is very very much still in play at this point

Don't quote me but I believe a 2.0 . The NCAA has requirements for eligibility with the % towards degree rules.
I just assumed when someone enters the transfer portal they walk through a Stargate SG1 type portal and thus have to go back through it to stay at a school.
This offseason many have entered and stayed. The $ isn't what it once was so many realized the $ wasn't there and decided to stay. Naak stayed at Iowa St and Kale Peterson is staying at Iowa I used them as examples since this is an Iowa board.

Joe Bachmann goes 5-2 at junior duals. Lost to Rocco cassioppi 4-1 and haakon Peterson 2-1 who had just lost to Mac crosson. Same issue he has in every match he losses, no offense basically the whole match. Wasn’t dictating the hand fight and positioning well either so was the one getting put on the clock. Got put on the clock both periods against cassioppi.
Also a bit of a bummer #2 in the class of 2030 Evan restivo was at faith christian but now is going to state college area coached by Nickals dad which I’m sure mean he’ll be a Penn state kid for sure. O’farrill also leaving mccort to go there, didn’t think our odds were good with him being at mccort but now our odds are at 0 as i’m sure that’ll lock him up with Penn state.
Joey jumped weights quickly so he's gonna have to adjust and find some offense. It doesn't change my thoughts on him. Rocco Haakon Mac are all good kids who will have good college careers.

Wasn’t he pretty offensive when he was a light weight not too long ago? He needs to settle in at a weight then work on getting the proper strength and muscle mass for the weight, to get back to wrestling the way he used to.
No he’s been pretty defensive his whole career. A lot of success but throughout his whole career in high level matches he’s consistently in 1 takedown matches.
