They play tonight, and I believe the 9th and a huge game against #1 Ontario Christian on the 10th. I think I have that right.

I watched the first quarter and here’s my shocking analysis—-she’s going to be a really, really good Hawkeye.😎 She really is moving well and I just can’t believe the length and athletic ability she will add to the team. It’s mighty impressive. One thing I didn’t see was her ability on the perimeter. I’m hoping the Hawkeyes can go back to a 4 out offense next year but McKenna played inside during the quarter I watched. She and Ava would be tough in this years triangle but I like the movement in the 4 out better. Regardless where she plays she will be awesome.
She has a really good 14-16 ft jumper. She'll be the stretch 4 to complement Ava's post game that Jan was hoping Hannah would be but hasn't materialized. Not to mention shes a monster on the glass.

Agreed

A big that can shoot a jumper is so badly needed on this team

Wondered how she was getting her stuff moved from California. They had a great first day weather wise. Reminds me of our daughter going to school 600 miles away. It was a tough day when we said goodbye. But they adapt quickly and begin their journey. All the best to McKenna, hoping she has a healthy, educational, inspiring, star studded college experience.
