I like that for the most part even when guys weren’t getting hits they were driving up the pitch count.
I thought this was the difference in the game. Rabe and DeCaro were playing each other even (that blooper double run wasn't DeCaro's fault), but the Heels were fighting better even when they were going down. It got Rabe off the mound earlier, which turned into them bringing their closer early.

No doubt. And hadn’t Rabe walked 11 (or some ridiculously small number) all season? And then the 2-run rally in the 7th also started with a pair of walks near the bottom of the order. The arms kept it close, and the bats kept grinding it out - a great recipe for this time of year and this park. Tremendous opportunity now awaits on Sunday…
