Get used to us swinging at the first pitch. This guy throws a ton of strikes, putting yourself in a hole every AB is not beneficial. Gavin, Macon, Paulie all swung at fastballs in the zone first pitch. I hope they do all night, they might be the best pitch they see that AB

Agreed entirely after watching him. Ambush him. If you get into a long AB great, but he's throwing strikes first pitch. If you can handle it, go to work

In his defense, he’s pretty darn good. That being said, we have to get his pitch count up. We need more competitive AB.
