After watching more, I don't mind attacking a first pitch fastball, regardless of pitch count. He's filling it up first pitch, and if you don't see spin first pitch, could be a good idea to attack

Rabe escapes the jam as Colin Hynek with a full-count strikeout looking. Not great in that frame were Erik Paulsen and Macon Winslow only seeing two pitches, Cooper Nicholson and Tyler Howe's ABs were high quality. Nicholonson's 9 pitch walk is rare for Rabe, his season high in one game is two.

It’s hard to evaluate college players. The bat makes a lot of these guys look good and a lot of pitches called strikes are balls at the next level.
