Brevard looked shellshocked. Reidsville was clearly the better team. But I think Brevard was beat when they got off the bus.
Agreed, that game didn’t show Brevard’s ability. That Brevard team would lose the vast majority of games to that Reidsville squad but I’d say 99% of them would be more competitive than that one.
It did look that way. I couldn’t help but sit there and wonder what if…. Pruitt’s Mom was passing out those Reidsville towels to wave and when she got to me sitting there in my West Craven hoodie she put her hands on her hips and said I don’t know about you!! I looked at her and said please let me have one. I need something to wipe the tears away! I’ll always have it to look back on.
He deserves them! I think I can speak for all of our side when I say he was impressive in that game with us. We could not keep him out of our backfield.
not the split conferences. But for sake of your point if you put them in any conference southwest of triad they do not get the same amount of rings. I gaurantee. They're one of top 2(sometimes 3) midgets in the state yes, but they rarely have to go through a gautlet....ever. There's a different level of wear and tear they avoid(not their fault) by being in a weaker region.
Gonna be loaded at receiver this year between him, cauthen, hairston, harlynd tinsley, lyons, robinson, and brathwaite. Also have Jaion Tucker coming in from West Virginia who is a very good defensivd player.
You're right I looked into it and looks like he's at GW danville now, still gonna have a solid defense though.

We are still getting the kid from southwest guilford Tavion Lawrence if you want to count him since he will be a freshman. Gonna be a huge addition for basketball and he's a pretty good football player too from what I've seen. Also getting a kid from Rockingham but he won't be playing much.

Yes, Tucker is at GW Danville. Along with Bartlett Yancey's 3 best players and a number of additions from Hargrave and Chatham.
It will be for sure. Rams dont really need any transfers this year either with a very very very good senior class.
Yes I agree. GW returns 18 starters off an 11-2 regional final team and has multiple players with division 1 offers. Rams will be very talented again and always seem to reload.
it was looking good for a little while. With the two kids from person county and Tucker. We still have some new additions, a good freshman coming in, Cauthen first year in action, broadway full year and Harland Tinsley is about 6’6 wr/te. Also getting rocket back.
And based on last year, anyone starts to struggle and a mid season transfer or two is always possible. Wild that DW tried Page the past two years and ended up back in blue and gold, wilder that he even considered. He did take a lot of flack for that holding call against ER in 24.
Glad to have him back though. Will be hard to throw on our secondary even without Neal. I feel like broadway can get whittled some good passes as well.
They'll be about the same if not a little worse depending on the QB situation. 2027 is the first year I'll start to be worried about them due to their recent middle school success and all the talent thst Reidsville will be losing after this year
Malachi Bryant, Maleek is his older brother. I've heard the same thing though, supposedly wants to focus on track.
