Ground Rule Double or Regular Double?

Clearly bounced off the wall. Tell your brother he needs glasses.
Not important, but if it didn’t bounce over, it shouldn’t have been ruled a double because Hull never touched second base.
I thought in the overhead view you could see Gavin round 2nd and Hull meets him at the base. Not sure if he ever touched 2nd, but looks close on that view.
I remember in y mind that he stood on second base for a few seconds. Could be wrong but don’t think it technically can be called a double once the runner touched home.
We discussed it here as well…. My only thought was that the scorer simply ruled it a double because hull was absolutely going to get 2nd. Technically the game was over the instant French touched home. And I don’t think hull was there, so I just assumed the scorer deemed he would take 2nd base. As noted, doesn’t matter.
A ball that bounces on the field and goes over the fence is not a ground rule double. It's a two base award. A ground rule double would be something like the ball hitting a roof or an overhanging tree. The ball going over the fence after touching the field in fair territory is explicitly covered in the rules. -Semantics police

Ya Gav never went to third but he went through 2nd base.
