I think it was 06. Last losing season we had before 2024. Max preps had it 51-6. The 07 and 08 games are on YouTube. I like seeing the old film with the big crowds and huge shoulder pads.

I don't have insider info but according to MaxPreps he's only played 11 games the past 3 years.
His stats could not be entered correctly...but the rest of the teams stats look right so I don't think that's it. He played in 5 games last year and had 5 receptions for 111 yds and 1 TD and recorded 7 tackles.
So it's either 1) has bad luck with injuries, 2) likes to quit, 3) has been removed from the team/has been benched consistently.
I don't know anything about the kid and I wish the best for him. But if it's reasons 2 or 3, I don't see Angle putting up with it for very long. Too much on the line with the all star roster Lincolnton has to put up with distractions.

Well he has offers. He will be going to college for free. So congratulations to him. A lot of kids dream about having the opportunity to play college football. Fortunately he will have the opportunity to play college football for free. Not a lot of 6’1/6’2 kids walking around Lincolnton….. that run 4.5 40’s.

I really hate the term "offer" it's really just such scam use of word. Kids get offers and they aren't worth using as toilet paper. A college offers a 100 kids for 1 spot and then cherry pick the one they want. If college gives a kid an offer, and kid says I'll sign right now the college wouldn't let them. Because it's more of a we are interested in you kid, but we aren't committed to you. We need a better term for recruiting colleges. They should just say so and so has interest from these schools. Offers are just social media pay on backs at this point.
This is very true. Offer used to mean you can sign to play here right now. These days it means we are interested in you and gonna keep watching you to see if we want you. Kids need to ask. Is this a commitable offer or not?
Looking at Hendo schedule. There is def a chance for them to go 10-0. The only non conference game I could see them losing is Erwin. And that’s maybe at best. In conference Mtn Heritage has gave them fits in the past by controlling the ball and eliminating the big play. Not sure if that’s enough with the talent Hendo will run out on the field this year.
Hendo lost 95 percent of their line from last year. Mitchell county is my sleeper win western highlands , mtn heritage will be tough

Epic gym day Newton lineman up here on leg press machine trying 880 pounds. All needing help unpack and none got a single rep. I walk over and just ask if I could try. They look at me and said u wanna try this. And I'm like yeah just once. I get on push out 10 reps with it and go straight into calf raises with it also. They were so embarrassed. I just told them it's that maiden power.
