Certainly hope everything is fine. Cutler's constant, never really relevant tangents are classic (e.g., "by the way..." or "if you know me you know..."). But he's definitely not afraid to question stuff. Even though it's only sports, he's a throwback type of news reporter.

Cutler's been around forever. I just checked, and he's 74. I still recall him as the sports anchor at WLEX when I was a kid.

The best Cutler anecdote ever, was when he chased BCG down the hallway, while Coach Pop Tart was pretending to talk to someone on the phone.
T'was classic, indeed. If I'm not mistaken, Coach Rich Brooks stated "Alan took one for the team" next day at a staff meeting. Read FB and BB programs not on good terms at the time. Heh.

He's on vacation. It's June. Relax. I listen to the show daily on podcast.

Look, Cutler's personality/demeanor can certainly be an acquired taste, and I bet he'd be the first to say so. I'm 42 and a lifelong Lexingtonian....so I've grown up with him doing UK and Bengals stuff. His delivery doesn't bother me, but if you aren't familiar with him, it might.

I like his show because he talks sports the entire time. KSR is pretty unlistenable anymore even in season. But definitely offseason when there isn't much UK or sports related to talk about and they fill their air space with pop culture and arbitrary nonsense. I understand why they do it but I'm not interested in listening to that.
