But I think the bigger thing the OP is getting at is how much lower, expecially outside the Top 25, that USA Today has big 10 teams than the other publications. In fact, USA Today has the lowest ranking of the publications listed for 14 of the 18 teams.

Penn State is only in the top 25 based on that weak *** schedule. Oregon at 6 is crazy talk, they have 14 returning starters on that squad with arguably the best QB in the country. I certainly would not put Indiana ahead of them.

So not sure you are aware, we are discussing the 2026 season, but I also don't understand what you base physicality on. They absolutely punished Iowa's defensive line, they added probably the best safety in the country.
