Any logically thinking parent should look at what Will Wade has done and keep their kids far far away from that, regardless of alma mater statusMarcus might push him to LSU. But I’m definitely with striking now![]()
Pope pulls that off and all of a sudden he’s rolling around a set of WHEELBARROW NUTS
His daughter played volleyball at Texas & pretty sure they live in the Dallas area so if he’s pushing him anywhere it’ll be Texas.Any logically thinking parent should look at what Will Wade has done and keep their kids far far away from that, regardless of alma mater status
How many 1 and dones is Pope allowed to land before he gets heat for it ? It's coming.
Was that you when you cried incessantly about Pope for months? What a waste of time. See ya never.
FIRE CAL!!!! wait…How many 1 and dones is Pope allowed to land before he gets heat for it ? It's coming.
A good mix of one and dones and uperclassman is the cocktail.FIRE CAL!!!! wait…![]()
Im diggin up on what you puttin down! So, LSU, Texas, UK, Alabama, Arkansas? Who else, T-Tech? Houston? Baylor? TAMU(seems unlikely). Are Duke and UNC involved. Probably all of the above considering NIL and him being a top 5 player and possible #1 pick.
His sister is at Texas as a volleyball player. UK's women are the runner-up. She definitely wouldn't be taking a big leap backwards in a transfer here.
Nice new screen name Nitro. Was that you when you cried incessantly about Pope for months? What a waste of time. See ya never.
Zero if he wins. How many 1 and dones is Pope allowed to land before he gets heat for it ? It's coming.
Listen, his recruiting fell off, but there is no reason to take pot shots at kids for coming here and playing. Boston and Livingston both were good, neither should've been relied on to carry the load. Their coach built crappy rosters and put the kids in bad positions.Zero if he wins.
No one had a problem with Cal getting one and dones until he started missing on the elite guys and began packing the roster with guys like Brandon Boston, Chris Livingston, and Quade Green.
Very suspect to class variance too.Listen, his recruiting fell off, but there is no reason to take pot shots at kids for coming here and playing. And sometimes higher rated prospect does not= better college player. Cal had multiple examples of kind of falling into that, especially early in his tenure. He wanted Will Barton in 2010. He lost out and got lower-rated Doron Lamb. Will Barton did turn out to be a better overall player, eventually, going on to a long NBA career as a solid rotation player. Cal still came out way ahead on that, because for 2 years in college Doron Lamb was a better option.Very suspect to class variance too.
You can have a top class but if it is weak or unbalanced you are still in a lot of trouble.
Sometimes the #1 big is Skal or Bradshaw or Green is a leading point guard and you are sort of weak and broken by default despite hitting the plan at or near 100% on target.
All the eggs in the same basket all the time is difficult to navigate.

I hope so I have given him the grief for not landing top players and transfers. We are going to get Spears. There will be an entirely different narrative on Pope this time next year
