….dead, and qualified for the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills! He’s been battling injuries for quite a while, but, apparently, is healthy finally, and wants to return to the tour. This is a good start. Great to see.

Great to see, he was so good. I went to the Ryder Cup at Valhalla when the U.S. won and he was a huge part of it. He was bombing it all over the course. He drove the Par 4 13th. That green is so small over water. 351 yards. Probably about 325 to the front of the green. It has to be a perfect shot.

Dude has to have 2 brain surgeries due to a rare condition that caused severe migraines and vertigo. My mom has that bad and I know how debilitating it can be. No way to play golf feeling like that if you can even stand up. Then he developed a rare allergy to the medical adhesive that they used to suture him up and needed another emergency surgery. No wonder he fell off the face of the planet so fast. He was an upper tier tour player for a long time.

Kentucky's captain, Jack Schoenberger missed it by one stroke yesterday. Heartbreaker. I guess he's first alternate.

J.B. Holmes began playing varsity golf in the third grade at Taylor County High Schoolin Campbellsville, Kentucky. He was just eight years old at the time and went on to letter for 10 years, eventually winning the Kentucky State High School Championship as a sophomore in 1998.

Played regional and state competition against JB back in high school. He was an absolute stick early in his career. Guy could/can hit it a mile.
I remember coming in to post a score of 75 thinking it was solid compared to other scores only to be quickly deflated seeing he shot a 68. 😟
