In the 1970s, camp was 2 weeks and they flew us to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Minneapolis to meet the kids. It was the first time most of us had been on a plane. Simpler times. It was a great experience.They still do gameday 100% right.
And the kids are treated so well the whole week…you cannot imagine how great the food situation is…those kids seriously eat like kings, and not like fancy restaurant crap, but so many damn leftovers(steaks, pizzas, chicken breasts, brats, etc) in the dorm fridges AFTER the meals.
And those dummies still DoorDash like crazy almost like it’s a competition.
